Serious question, how annoying is it to see Vader holding his weapon backwards?:p

Is it possible you're playing in some alternate universe featuring Derp Vader? Because that would explain a lot.

SSS, unlike the other "skins," when you play Lord Vader, it uses his unique animations. Remember them from the TFU1: Prologue? So, for instance, he holds his lightsaber properly, and uses a one handed attack like the badass he is. He also refuses to run, instead he strides forward menacingly with his cape swooping behind him. No matter how many people are shooting at him, he keeps his dignified and steady pace. Because he's awesome.

If he used the stupid Starkiller animations, like the other skins, it'd defeat the point. That's why the Palpatine skin in TFU1 wasn't very fun.

Shame that Kukuasir's mods aren't available for NexGen consoles.

I've always been bitter there was no DLC that let you play as Vader.

All those character packs when the most interesting one was already in the game being ignored.

Still think the SCIV model was better, though.

I just got a new tower and I haven't played TFU2 yet; does the PC version look that much better?

Just catching up on my comics tonight- that ending! Definitely need to reread Betrayal now as well.

This was a damn awesome series. Damn awesome. Great art, great story.

Exactly my thought when I finished the series! Trachta's later betrayal has a completely different interpretation now!

I have a bad feeling for the first person who doesn't like this series...

He'd have to be nursing a grudge for a really long time though. . . not sure how significant this particular incident could be in all that, though it does explain how he knows the Emperor has Force abilities.

Also, perhaps I missed something, but is this the first source to have Tarkin as a grand moff so early in the game? It raises some difficulties with the DSTC timeline wise...

edit: Apologies for bringing up continuity wrinkles in such a celebratory thread :p

Hm. So there are a few wrinkles. Of course, they're ones already familiar to us since ROTS: the DS was already under construction at that point, yet Tarkin was promoted to grand moff immediately after proposing the concept of the Death Star. That's the main wrinkle. Dangor's message to him in the DSTC could be antedated to shortly after ROTS I suppose, and the textual context quite allows for it. Thankfully the letter is undated.

He's still just a Moff in Dark Lord, as he is in the Last of the Jedi series (although the latter states that he's going to become Grand Moff shortly).

Really, though, he was already a "regional" Moff, and despite having an increase in territory under his command, most of the other "regional" Moffs ended up becoming Grand Moffs as well at some point.

Right, but his main justification for creating oversectors was because of jurisdictional limitations inherit to moffdom (I'd say moffship, but that's already a word...).

No no, that's a unit of measurement used to determine moffsmanship.

Some of those Moff references could be explained as just a shorthand of Grand Moff, if need be.

As for Trachta, it would be nice to see more stories building to his Betrayal events, but even with just these two, at least we have the foundation for it.

Also, I think "Never Suffer Rivals" will now the unofficial title of my C6 Hodges Vader print with the Trchta/Xizor/Jerec remarque on it. It fits quite well. :D

    Hella damn hell ass awesome.
