JCC Woman accused pushing husband out window sues apartment building over window specifications

Someone was complaining on my newsfeed about this, and I have to say, unless there is compelling evidence (eyewitness testimony or video or somesuch) that she pushed him through the window, her claim that he tripped is equally plausible.

Also, even if she did push him . . . the window shouldn't have broken.

I think she has a legitimate lawsuit if she can prove that the windows were not up to spec.

Even if she was trying to murder him, glass that high up shouldn't be so thin that an unassisted human can toss another through it. If she used a sledgehammer then sure.

What do you guys think?

the wndow was closed? I guess they somewhere whereits warm, i don't think our double glass insulation windows would break that easily.

Anyway, it does seem like the window shouldn't have broken from that. Kind of hard to prove whether she wanted it to or not, though.

 

I read in the comments that there is apparently a witness? Maybe someone heard them fighting and her threatening to kill him and a struggle when she tried to push?
