That doesn't sound like fun. How 'bout you tell us some embarassing stories instead?

 

I'm hopelessly lost here, so I'll just assume there's some television show that egregiously misrepresents life aboard a submarine.

 

Movies have taught me that no submarine goes a mission without a mutiny breaking out over nuclear weapons.

 

And that the captain is allowed to bring his dog aboard as long as he's one of the last guys around who's seen combat.

 

Ooooh! I've got a lot of those! One time, in Turkey, a guy tried to sell me his sister. When I acted surprised, he told me that he only meant to rent her for the night. True story.

 

That reminds me of this heartwarming tale from the Book of Judges

Okay, now my mind is officially blown, because when I made that post I was 100% kidding. Seriously.

Alright, that show looks absolutely horrendous. Aside from the incredibly outlandish premise, the production values look just horrible, especially aboard the submarine.

 

It's every bit as terrible as it seems. I was 5 mins in and could immediately tell that they hadn't actually been on a submarine. Ever.

 

That wouldn't be a problem for me.

 

I watched a little bit of it tonight...and I really don't think that I'll be tuning in next week.

How about that one with dinosaurs that Darth Ghost watched all the time but apparently no one else ever did.

I think I know what he is talking about, it was on Fox and had dinosaurs and time travel and Spielberg I think.

Also that trailer just looks so bad.

 

Terra Nova. Should have been given a Second season, but that's Fox for you.

 

Did anybody besides me watch/enjoy the NBC show Kings that was loosely based on the four books of er...Kings, in the Hebrew Bible? The storytelling was a bit clunky, but the concept, acting, and production design were top notch.

 

Oh right. I remember seeing something about that show (Terra Nova). It looked like it had possibilities. Of course, given the cosmic justice that follows TV land, Last Resort will go 3 seasons, minimum.
