Full Series *Official* TCW online comics thread

It has been discussed. If it does happen, both stories will likely be put together in one volume.

 

Anyone know if, when, and how (given the site's redesign) this is continuing in the new season?

 

Good question! I totally forgot about these. I don't think we've heard anything since... well, last spring.

 

In a ForceCast interview with one of the writers, I remember him saying that this season the webcomic would would come in bigger batches, whenever there was a hiatus in the animated show, instead of small bits sprinkled throughout.

 

Hopefully webcomic has Tikkes in it

 

I've only truly liked Season 1 webcomics.

I'd read them if my computer didn't load them so slowly... internet connection isn't too amazing. I've skimmed some of them before though.

 

One thing I really liked about these comics so far was their use of Passel Argente. A truly underused character, that fellow. And one we really know next to nothing about.

 

What happen with the comics? I cannot find them in the new mess of a layout of the official website or is that another thing they don't bother with anymore?

 

I think they got scrapped along with the rest of the stuff most of us went to the OS only for.

^^^That's a real shame. More often than not, they help me make sense of the episodes and were quite solid story wise...enjoyable all round.

 

The comics will be back.

Those comics were very awesome in tying the episodes together. Now TCW just expect us to NOT care for what happens between episodes. LUCAS WIELDS IT!

Like for instance, the Pre Viszla getting into a fight and leaving Dooku's side would have made for an awesome web comic before "A Friend in Need".

 

Though I haven't read it, from what I've heard of it the print comic Darth Maul: Death Sentence is like a web-comic in that it connects the dots for Maul and Savage between S4 and S5.

 

It is.

Unfortunately you have to 1) pay for it and 2) wait a month between each installment. Blarg.
