First, I think you should value accuracy over hyperbole if you're going to take this discussion seriously. I never said Force-users were infinitely better, I said it's better for a member of the Jedi Council to be killed by a powerful Force-user than someone with Force-powers whatsoever.

And you're damn right. The OT is what makes and defines the Star Wars saga. The EU is extra stuff to take or leave as I see fit. If something is a critical part of the films, like how powerful the Force is, that makes it a certified part of the story. Something appearing in a book is not the same. So yes, I absolutely think "because the OT says so" is a valid supporting argument while "because the EU says so" is not.

It's not just my bias that ranks the films above EU in terms of defining the Star Wars universe, so do canon rules. Thought you were all about those?

I am actually very happy. Since I live in Canada, I can't watch the full episodes on SW.com. but, for some apparent reason, it let me! so I got it in full hd it was awesome

I'm starting to think that Palpatine might have had something to do with Maul's survival. That look at the end of "Revival" kind of makes him look like he's pleased with the whole Darth Maul and Savage Opress rampage. I guess we'll find out soon.

I don't SW.com, i have site where i can watch all 4 seasons of TCW with episode 1 of S5 as well!

Yeah I know, thats how i watched most of them BUT, you don't get them in hd.. usually 480p i think

I watched it in (must have been 1080p for sure) and man it was breathtaking compared to the original quality I'm used to.

Agreed. Every official site states that movie canon stands higher than EU canon. And after TCW started, TCW has been put over the EU cause it is treated like part of the movies almost.
