    I want to see

Ralph Fiennes: He can play a great Sith Lord like Exar Kun, Nihilus or the Sith Emperor.
Diane Kruger: She can play Satine.

I think Daniel Craig would be pretty cool in a SW movie :)

I genuinly can't think of anyone who I think would be good in Star Wars

I think Star Wars does better with unknown actors,

    otherwise it will be like:

"oh look Morgan Freeman with a lightsaber LOLOOLOOLOOLOLOLOOOLOLOLROFLLOL"

Well, Samuel L. Jackson is really well known, and Ewan McGregor, Harrison Ford and Christopher Lee, and they did really good jobs.

But yeah, Star Wars does do better with all of the unknown actors, Harrison Ford was a carpenter when George Lucas found him and offered him the role on ANH if you didn't know, and look how amazing he was :)

Harrison Ford was a "struggling actor" who was a carpenter when he wasn't acting. In fact, GL didn't want to cast him in ANH because he'd been in GL's American Graffiti and GL was afraid of his "familiarity." Look him up on imdb - he was in lots of roles prior to ANH.

Nathan Fallion would make a young Han Solo flashback or an older Jacen Solo.

Daniel Craig, who cares just give him a lightsaber.

    Susan Sarandon an older Mara

Hey! Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamil could still play Luke and Leia:)

sorry, but for all intense and purposes Ford wasn't exactly known in the 70's, he wasn't exactly Marlon Brando or Laurance Oliver or even Charlton Heston famous, an actor yes, but a familiar one, nope.

Yet oddly familiar to those who watched American Graffiti.

I'm afraid you couldn't beat him and get him in Han character. Sadly

Except to us who grew up in the AG time period. Danny was no Bob Falko, even in a smaller role.

    my point still remains:

Star Wars does better with unknowns, imo

My point was that GL didn't want to use Harrison Ford. Sure, a lot of folks probably didn't know him. GL asked him to sit in on the readings when he was casting other roles. He decided Harrison was the best Han Solo, although he was not actually auditioning for the part, just reading the part to help with the audition of others.

But in conclusion I don't think there could have been a better Han Solo, and Indiana Jones :)

Speaking of unknowns, should my fantasies come true and a movie based on Star by Star ever get made, I'd want Tokala Clifford to play Zekk.

Despite my overly enthusiastic opinion of Ford,
I would love the pizza delivery man in a new Star Wars movie.
I would love a new Star Wars movie
new Star Wars movie...got to love it...just saying it makes you giddy inside.

Sorry if I was or am annoying, it's a clone thing.

Well, some actors do well with sci-fi settings, some don't.

About the best position I would see morgan freeman in is some honest legit space merchant.....Or maybe a smuggler? NOT a lightsaber wielding jedi. [face_laugh]

I'd like it to be people we don't know, it keeps things more interesting then.

James Purefoy could play a great edgy jedi playing around with the dark side.

Peter Dinklage is great in just about everything.

Ron Perlamn would make agreat career mercenary character, someone who we had never seen on screen.
