I have not read the books nor intend to and hear they are not all they are cracked up to be.

 

I'd much prefer seeing Someone like Scarlett Johansson or Hayley Atwell cast in a movie like 50 Shades, at least then it might be watchable

 

I've never understood what my mother sees in those books.

Hayley Atwell in 50 Shades of Grey? I loved her in Captain America too much to see her get smacked on the behind with a riding crop.

(That's what happens in the book, among other things, yes?)

 

Maybe so, but she's hot and would look good with no clothes on. The only reason to see such a movie would be to see naked people, so might as well be sure they are damn fine people.
I would also support Kelly Brook being cast in the film, I'm sure it doesn't really require any acting talent
