I would be lying if I didn't find some of the things Jello says to be creepy.

 

I honestly though it was heavy sarcasm or an act.

 

It is, its called "role playing". I'm sure jello really does believe Palpatine was an evil monster who deserved to be defeated by the Rebellion or that Palpatine was evil for allowing children to be murdered, but if he said stuff like that out loud here, that would be OOC for the role he plays here as a loyal imperial.

 

Guys, let's try not to break the fourth wall here. It's....unseemly.

Anakin murdered them all because they happened to belong to the same tribe and the same race as the people who murdered his mother. Which is why his action under no rational standard qualifies as moral or justified, but is rather murder and genocide.

I've actually seen him break character before. I can't remember which thread it was, but it happened and it was glorious. I think it was around 2010 or so. All I remember about the thread is Dewback was there.

 

I demand details.

 

He broke character to lambast some other pro-Imperial poster. All I remember is the guy making some extremely stupid assertion, and Iello calling him out on it. Once again, the only other thing I remember is that dewback_rancher also pointed out that the Grand Admiral had broken character. EDIT: Jello also admitted to having broken character during the thread. I'm not making this up.

It's not like he's unique in utilizing a character on the boards- back when he was a regular poster, Thrawn McEwok used to post all sorts of reading-against-the-text theories (Luke Skywalker is the reigning Dark Lord of the Sith, Jag is a clone, Jaina and Kyp did it between Dark Journey and Enemy Lines) to get people to think in different ways about the text.

 

I don't recall the incident in question, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I am very scatterbrained and absent-minded, after all, so forgetting things is not really that unexpected.

Ah, the Hetts! What (if anything) did they do to to sort the Tusken/Farmer conflict out? Wasn't Hett Junior still a Jedi when he lost his arm while leading a war party against the Lars farm? It seems the exact opposite of what a Jedi should have been doing.

 

Well, it was post-ROTS, when he had basically given up being a Jedi and gone back to being a Tusken Raider.
