Buff, NY Brighton Place Library Appearance Request-Sat. Nov. 10th

We have been invited back to Brighton Place for an appearance again this year. This would be a 1-hour event (starting at either 10:30 or 11 am), activities at our discretion, with max. attendance of 15-20 kids. We expect ages from approx. 6-10 years.

Some activity ideas include: story time read by characters; or having the kids make masks and act out a short SW skit. We can discuss activity ideas and work out the details as we go.

We have been encouraged to have info about Compass House available, and we can accept donations on their behalf. We could bring in some of our photo albums of past events to share too. We could ask Compass House to come out and have a presence there if we want.

I'm thinking that we might be able to get them to let us use their display case in the spring, where we could post pictures and maybe some promotional stuff about the Bisons game.

It's early yet, but hopefully since we have lots of advance notice on this event we can have a good showing.

 

I am interested in this and hopefully my work schedule will permit me to be home.

I'm out - my son has league bowling from 9:00-11:00 every Saturday morning. Dad's the (unofficial) cheerleader /coach for the team.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this event. Larry and Janice have graciously agreed to coordinate again this year.

 

I'm not sure that I can make this one either. Put me down as a "No". If anything changes, I'll post an update.

 

Our contact at the library has encouraged us to be creative if we'd like to raise money for Compass House there. She said we could set up a collection container there, and use any means we want (like Facebook, etc.) to advertise that we're collecting money in that location.

Any thoughts?
