Interesting. Good to see JJM will keep working with star wars. I wonder if Owen and Beru will play a role.

 

Oooh, a western! I love Westerns! I expect people to shoot blasters while hiding behind barrels of Corellian Ale. I also demand a scene like the end of Unforgiven when one person shoots an entire cantina full of people. Seriously though, I am very excited

 

and have Obi-Wan stop them? That would be entertaining

 

Do not underestimate the powers of the Miller! Convert you he will! Convince you to read tales of the Lost Tribe and enjoy them, he will!

 

Kenobi would feel the disturbance in the force for sure. Don't know if I want him there to stop it though. That's one of the most epic scenes in a movie ever. They also need a band of brothers to dress up in tuxedo's for a gunfight at the equivilant of the O.K. Corrall. A young outlaw like the "kid" and a really good sherriff. Every Western has a sherriff. Someone to represent Hickock. I know Wyatt Earp was a lawman, but nobody beats Hickock in my book.

 

So pumped to hear this news. I'm really glad John Jackson Miller is getting to do another Star Wars novel. I really loved Knight Errant. This ought to be fun.

Man, this book has Darth Plagueis-level potential. I'm really intrigued by the motion of Obi-Wan putting aside his Jedi identity to become Ben. I've always wondered how much of his "old hermit" persona in ANH was an act and how much was his truly changed personality. I'm also excited about the prospect of some Qui-Gon appearances. I'd love a scene where Obi-Wan learns to become one with the Force!

JJM is just the icing on the cake. Knight Errant was really good and Kenobi looks like it will be spectacular!

I am so excited for this as John Jackson Miller is stellar.

 

Sweet! Since JJM is so good with continuity, I'm hoping that in addition to his appearances with Ferus and Hett, he'll include the material from Dark Lord and "Last One Standing" (the Jude Watson short story).

Jello - I'm probably getting it on my Kindle anyway, but I'm legitimately considering an extra hard copy just for that art.

That's the saddest post I've ever seen.

 

CooperTFN In the Last of the Jedi series, which may or may not take place before this, Obi-Wan was mourning Siri among those Jedi that had been lost, and he later talked about it with Ferus. And Ferus mentioned how he'd felt it when she died. So i'm pretty sure its not going to be her.
