I would've have buffed Arya and Sansa had I not been obstinate about supporting Dany.

 

I would have supported a Tommen win, but actually thought Arya would survive, given how long she was leading the game. Bran chapters are just way too terrible for me to ever have supported him, though.

 

i think you gave arya 2 points once. aside from that i was her only supporter, i was just posting way more than anyone else.

 

I was actually keeping a record of the volume of points revolving around each character, both given and taken away, until I went to LA. Then the thread ballooned, I saw the bazillion new pages when I got back, and was like that, "**** that."

Tom I may not have had time to give her points, but I was always her greatest moral supporter, and tried my best to save her.

 

not likely. you'll all be in separate levels of hell depending on how many points you took from arya. at least obi anne is a jaime fan and therefore up front about her support of child murderers.

 

It would be very interesting to see what the final results look like should I decide to finish the rest of the thread. I think I was Arya's biggest detractor. And for the most part, I actually like the character!

Conspiring to kill Arya was inordinately fun It helped that by that point there was no one that tom could target that would dissuade me from my crusade. If only I'd gotten to Dany in time...

Sansa. But vile murderers got to her before a coalition could be put together for her defense.

For the longest time, I thought characters like Tyrion and Dany (who turned out to be the final two) had no chance in hell, because of the way previous games went down, but that was awesomely not the case. So, I didn't even bother talking to anyone about helping either of them win (except Yane- and that was just me telling her, "They'll never survive"). Even then, I still gave Tyrion and Dany 18 and 36 points, respectively.

So, during the endgame, I was scrambling around suggesting a bunch of different characters to people as possible winners.

That was probably longer an answer than you wanted, but there you have it.

 

yeah, i didn't actually want bran to win either.

my second choice after arya was tormund giantsbane. but i knew he would have to fly under the radar until there were four or five people left to have a chance, and that wasn't the case. but like you i didn't think tyrion or dany had any chance at all. glad it ultimately came down to two of my favorite characters.

I was looking at the list and thought to myself, "You know, that Tormund fella is kind of FUTR." Then I talked to someone (I forget who) about taking him out and that was that. I was actually ready to help Bran win, though (this was after the endgame had started and Sansa was gone).

 

i would have been cool with bran winning, mostly to spite jabba-wocky who let arya die.

 

So what's Dany going to do with her victory!? Nothing - just stay in the same place for two books.

The game got more fun with "conspiring" with people. I didn't know that was a "thing" in this game, but it was interesting!

 

I wanted Dany to win.

 

I just wanted to vote the opposite way of Cor. It's always exciting to see how long it will take him to have a meltdown.

 

It was me. Cor not only singled out Tormund Giantsbane, but he promised me it was the best way to simultaneously protect Daenerys and get revenge on the people who killed Arya. I thought I was doing a righteous act.
