why give us the choice at all if we're only supposed to live one way? is life just a test?

 

He set free will in order. You want someone to love you because they love you, not because you tell them to. Same thing. He wants to be chosen, and plus setting things in motion, He won't change the covenants and things He has sworn to stay by.

 

so god is kind of like a jealous boyfriend? "i want you to love me for who i am, not just because you'll burn forever if you don't."

He is a jealous God as He has said Himself, but for the right reasons. He wants you to spend eternity with Him in everlasting life, not ever lasting pain in burning

God spoke and boom universe came into our time. So it did happen in a bang, but not just for no reason

 

So, you don't think that could have happened without god speaking?

 

He spoke into existence. Nothing is possible without Him so yeah.

 

So what created god?

 

He was there. Always has, always will be

Simple: like all gods, some guy dreamt him up aeons ago and started to fashion a myth about him/her. And here we are thousands of years later, debating the fundamentals on said myth.

 

so if god knows our decisions either way, you agree that he already knows who will decide to choose him and who will choose the world. so basically he creates certain people who he knows fine rightly won't ever accept him as lord and saviour and who will in fact burn in hell forever. yet he still creates these people?

 

Arlon what is your purpose for being on this Earth? Do you think there's a special plan for your life? Do you think working at the Walgreens is part of that plan, or do you think that maybe your plan doesn't start until a little later? Do you think there are big plans or just the sort of plans that need to be done? Like how someone's got to operate the train even though trains are on tracks and no one ever thinks about the guy driving the train?
