If it's not a lot of effort, sure, that would be cool.

I know this at least used to be up to date, and just glancing it over it seems like it still is.

Off the top of my head, looks to be missing "This Crumb for Hire," "Bungo n' Rusti Get Carry-Out," and Prelude to Rebellion #0, unless those aren't considered uncollected and/or comics.

Classic Star Wars should keep them busy before we hit KotoR and Legacy. I would think DH would want to get some more mileage out of those trades.

Cool cool cool, thanks a lot for assembling that. It seems doubtful the Dark Forces trilogy will ever make it into an Omnibus since they weren't actually comics, here's hoping that most of these will eventually be collected. Sad that they've already missed perfect opportunities to republish the SOTE specials and the Droids Apple Jacks strip, though.

I'd have to think carefully about it to come up with all of those missing from your list (which is hard to do since it's late and I'm tired), Rew, but off the top of my head the following pre-2006 comics come to mind:

    Marvel UK
"R2-D2's Tales from the Data Banks"; two stories with the same title, in Star Wars Summer Special 1985 and Return of the Jedi #83.
"Cyril: Adventures of an Editor-Droid"; a series of N-canon joke strips in the Return of the Jedi series (and elsewhere?)

"The Cries of Alderaan"; a combo comic/article story on the Galaxies website

"Il Potere Della Forza"; an Italian comic published by Hasbro

Tokypop's Star Wars Manga Black and Star Wars Manga Silver

A number of Lego comics, both those packaged with toys as well as those published in the various Lego mags (I'm too tired to look up my list of the latter, but if people are interested I can do so tomorrow).

An Australian advertisement comic strip, the name of which I'm forgetting.

There are of course others post-2006 as well. :-B

Does anyone know how long these are supposed to be in print? I'd like to collect them at some point, but I notice that X-Wing volume 1 and TOTJ volume 2 have already gone out of print... I have both of those, luckily, but I have to wonder if the older ones will go the same way soon.

I think the older omnibi (omnibuses?) are in the process of being reprinted with a new spine. If you look at the spine of the Clone Wars collections (and Droids & Ewoks), the spine has a black "Dark Horse" logo that the older versions don't have. But when I went to my local comic store the other day, I saw the first TOTJ volume sporting the black "Dark Horse" logo on the spine - something that my TOTJ Volume 1 doesn't have.

Yeah as far as I understand the whole point is that these will stay in print indefinitely. I think BobaKareu is right that you just happened on a gap between print runs; remember when the the X-wing books "went out of print" and everyone panicked?

    So many questions!

What are all the issues that will be in this volume?
How many volumes will there be in the Wild Space subseries?
Why the long wait between Omnibuses from February and June?

All that said, though, I'm pretty excited too! :D

Magic 8-ball says: Cloudy, check back later.

Quite seriously ID, there's no way to know! It's one of the things that infuriates me about comics, that you either grab stuff as it becomes available or risk not getting it as item X goes out of print fast.

Just curious - when things get published in the hardcover omnibus collection (i.e. Dark Empire, Crimson Empire), does that mean they will likely never be published in the paperback omnibus versions? The collections technically aren't part of the omnibus collection, but they're the exact same size... just as a hardcover.

I hope they balance out the Wild Space volumes with something else, like KOTOR or Legacy.

Really looking forward to the "Wild Space" Omnibus; I've been waiting for this obscure & HTF material to be reprinted ever since I first read Dark Horse's 2-issue "Devilworlds" series way back in '96, which reprinted many of the great & HTF UK SW comics.

I would also like to know how many Omni(s) are coming out in this "Wild Space" series, and how far apart; I'm guessing there is at least one more volume, given that this is "Volume 1". I'm also thinking that they can reprint all of this material in 2-3 volumes.

If there is a second volume, it may be called "Unknown Regions", since when DH first announced this Omni last August, the title was "Wild Space & Unknown Regions". Hopefully this potential second volume will be coming out before the end of 2013.

Nobody knows. You'd think that eventually they would publish them in the main line, since The Thrawn Trilogy for example is now out of print, and it has been said that this shouldn't happen with paperbacks. But when they will get published, that's the question. I have concidered buying Dark Empire and Crimson Empire (TTT I don't really care about, since it's a book adaptation), but I'd like official word of their situation first.

After the Wild Space volumes my biggest wishes are Tales and KOTOR. And some New Republic Omnibus collecting stuff outside the three big series (TTT, DE and CE)

By the way, it has a cover now

Depends on if they have what you like, really. They all have enough material to justify buying them instead of trade paperbacks, but if you for example are not that interested in movie adaptations or wacky droid/ewok adventures, The Complete Saga or Droids and Ewoks wouldn't be for you. I have bought them all because I have no other Star Wars comics and they are that cheap.

Have any sites confirmed exactly which stories will be in Wild Space? Its confirmed that we'll have the 3D issues but what else? Is there a full list yet?

On the Dark Horse forum not long ago Randy was asking for help in getting some scans of the Star Wars Kids material that they could not find the source material....so that stuff should show up there.

Prelude to Rebellion #0 unfortunately will probably never appear anywhere as apparently Dark Horse does not have the original files and the flash files are all corrupted or not working.
