Isn't Lucasfilms worth MORE than 4 Billion?

I know 4 billion is A LOT but isnt this the same price Disney got Marvel for? Or close to it? Lucasfilms has to be worth a LOT more than Marvel. Lucasfilms has Star Wars, Indiana Jones, ILM, LucasArts and I am sure more that i am not thinking of right now.

 

Marvel Studios was bought by Disney for 4 billion, so you're correct with that.

Marvel Studio has made just as much money with the Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc. So no, Marvel isn't a lesser Studio than LucasFilm.

 

What I think you are failing to consider, is that half of the 4.02 billion was cash and the other half was Disney stock. In the long run, with the Disney stock part of the deal, it could be way more than the face value of 4.02 billion.
