Really?!! The Rebels picked Dantooine "and" Yavin, which were both Force worshipping places?! Sounds like EU crap, just because they can't think of new world names themselves.

 

A return to Bespin would be cool. Maybe Lando's kid would be in charge of it if the ST is far enough into the future

 

I could care less about Yavin. Dantoonie wasn't just for the jedi though. There are also ancient sith grounds there as well.

 

Coruscant is necessary since it will presumably still be the capital. But other than that, I want the vast galaxy explored instead of seeing ****ing Tatooine again. If they're taking ideas from it, the EU alone has a vast array of planets to choose from.

Corellia would be nice to see on screen.

We shouldn't ghettoize the EU just yet. What're you going to do if we end up with an ST that follows the EU to the letter and works within established canon? Don't throw it out.

Tatooine is a given, so is Coruscant.

Hopefully none past that, and I am hoping not Tatooine.

I too want to see some new worlds we haven't seen, though I do think Corsucant is a must.

I agree with wanting to see Mon Calamari, Korriban and Corellia. Kessel (along with the Maw) and Dathomir might be cool as well. I know there are others I would like to see, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

 

I'd like Coruscant, and some new worlds to the big screen, please. It's supposed to be a big galaxy, so don't show us the same planets all the time.

Mon Calamari or Manaan would be cool to see on screen.

I think I'd prefer new locales, although I was thinking that it would be cool to see the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV. The temples, the jungle. Tatooine? No need. Coruscant. Definitely. I'd like to see other big, industrial places like Corellia of Kuat, to get a feel for the sheer scope of galactic civilisation. Naboo was nice, and added a new flavour, but this new trilogy should be expansive in the same way that the Original Trilogy was - the galaxy is full of uncharted settlements, smugglers, bounty hunters and a never ending depth of story and opportunity. Transcendent - I think that captures something of that notion. We need locales that are both familiar but different and strange in some meaningful way, like the two suns setting over Tatooine.

 

I agree that we'll see Coruscant, it's just too important not to be there. I am not sure that Tatooine in really necessary.

Neither do I but if they're making everything up right now from scratch, is 3 years enough time? I think we'll see a similar mix of old and new planets as we saw in the PT.
