Double post, but whatever.

With three more Star Wars films slated to come out over the next decade, we should petition for a bit of Limmie to be shown in the new ones. You know, because we all want to see our favorite players come to life; maybe an assassination plot leads the characters to a game?

 

I only learned about the buyout via a friend at dinner tonight. This goes to show you how little I've been following news lately with a friend in town. This blew my mind. I can only imagine how screwed up the canon is going to get. Heaven knows if they'll do anything to Limmie!

 

Maybe our game will become canon material?

 

Now would be the time to go camp out at Skywalker Ranch...or maybe in Anaheim. "Hey, do you think you could get Emma Stone in your next movie? She could be the most awesome athlete in the galaxy. Also, please write in her winning seventeen championships. And Coruscant not getting any. Okay thanks."

I have finished the schedule and believe it is correct. Apologies to Bardan_Jusik and CPL_Macja for it turned out that the easiest way to get conference games to balance was to have you guys visit Bakura Gardens again in 271. Every other game as it worked out was able to be manipulated so that returning teams from last season will get to visit or host other teams as appropriate (obviously for Onderon and Ryloth this was not important as it's your first year in the league).

Now, I'm 100% sure that all conference games have been properly decided. The only question is whether or not I got the non-conferences right. Once again, I was able to preserve the proper match ups here for all returning teams by working with Onderon and Ryloth to switch some of the host games around. I'm 90% sure that everything's good here, but since I had to do a little manipulation of the non-conference games there's a chance there's something that messed up. So it's worth it to take a look.

Also, if you don't like the schedule, you can half blame the dice roller for determining order and half blame Macja for helping make a schedule that used a conference format.

 

I don't mind visiting Bakura again. Would have been nice to be there for Truce Day again though.

But for the rest of it, what a schedule! The Mercs start the season with four straight away games, then finish up the season with three home games.

 

Wow. If there's a harder schedule than that, I want to hear it.

I rather enjoy the challenge. My poor rookiees won't be able to experiance the Meshla Vhetin in a real ELL matchup until game five though.

 

Just deal with it. I had that exact same schedule last season.

At which point they're either a mass of quivering jelly or battle-hardened, unstoppable vets. This is all part of your nefarious plan.

 

Even if it were, I am sure the Mercs would just "pull a Miners" as soon as they made the playoffs and lose in the first round.

 

Just as long as the Miners don't pull a Miners this season.
