    Star Wars: Episode 7

Jada Solo, direct descendant of Han and Leia, is a brilliant scientist. At the age of 25, she’s ascended to the highest medical post in the Republic. Publicly, she’s seen as a hero. The one who saved countless trillions from a perilous virus. Privately, she’s interested in the folklore of the Jedi, specifically, the essence of midiclorians. As she conducts her own, highly guarded, and solitary research aboard the Republic’s premier medical frigate (The Organa), she discovers how to replicate midiclorians.

Jada shares her findings with her cousin and head of the still young Jedi Council, Han Skywalker. He sees experimenting with midiclorians as against the force’s will, and prefers a time-tested and more cautious path towards filling the Jedi’s ranks. Discouraged at the lack of cooperation, Jada injects herself with her replicated midiclorians and discovers a level of enlightenment that challenges every essence of her being. Continued injections offer her unimagined powers, and a deep desire to “enlighten” the galaxy.

Against the Republic’s wishes, Jada shares her findings publically and stirs the imaginations of a galactic population. Soon, factions from across the galaxy conspire to take this technology for their own purposes. Seeking to protect her, the Jedi attempt to escort her and her findings to a remote location. The immature Jedi order is challenged at every step – as distinctly different factions from across the galaxy (including planetary armies, rouge intellectuals, bounty hunters and backwater leaders with delusions of grandeur) ascend from all directions….

Star Wars VII - The Dawn Of Darkness

Peace has reigned for 25 years since the defeat of the Emperor and Darth Vader. The Alliance Republic, formed by the Rebel Alliance has managed to keep hold of the inner rim although lawlessness still exists in the outer rim where the Hutts and bandits hold sway.

Princess Leia and Han Solo have been killed a decade ago fighting the loyalist remnants of the Empires forces. Their son Jacen (now 22) lives with uncle Luke on a remote but beautiful mountainous planet. Luke trains Jedi, although with the relative peace the Jedi are again fading into obscurity. There are not many students at his academy, Luke spends a lot of time meditating, his sadness around the loss of his sister and Han weighs heavily.

Jacen doesn't think much of the Jedi, and sort of blames his uncle for the death of his parents. He doesn't train with Luke but during the first film it's implied that he is force-sensitive. Jacen is all about girls and adventure, he is very much a young Han Solo type - smart cracking slacker, always taking the easy way out. He is self centred but very charismatic, he resents his sister who is a politician.

During the early part of the film we find out that Jacen has got himself into some sort of bind, maybe dating the daughter of a local mob-boss or stealing someones ship. A chase ensues and Jacen escapes, but only by the intervention of a mysterious stranger.

Meanwhile, on Coruscant a terrorist has attempted to blow up the Senate. Only through the quick thinking of a young senator named Jada Solo was the plot foiled. Jada is passionate, level headed, cautious, political. It raises some questions about who would want the Senate to be destroyed. The bomber was Bossk, a bounty hunter with no real political affiliations someone must have hired him to do the job.

Cut to a bunch of pirates in a bar trying to sell Jacen to some slave traders, somehow Luke intervenes and saves Jacen. Luke explains that he knew he was in trouble because he felt it through the force, and that he feels that danger may be on the horizon and that he should start training with him. Jacen just gets mad and storms off.

It turns out one of Lukes first students has turned to the Dark Side and is behind the attack on the Senate. He's a dark Jedi who has set about studying the Sith.

.........not sure where to go from here....probably I'd have Luke die at the end of the first movie and Jacen set up as being in training to take on the new mysterious threat, probably a lot of brother/sister interaction, a sort of love/hate relationship between two different but complimentary types.

Jacen would need a love interest of some kind too I spose.

Don't have any concrete ideas on plot...but I do have an idea for a scene.

A lot of people have mentioned that, if The Trio come back, a way to reel Ford in would be to have Han die. Here's my idea for that...

One of the films (the first or second) opens with a furious dogfight in space, with the Falcon at the center of it. Han and Leia's daughter is flying cover for them. Just as it seems The Good Guys are gaining the upper hand, the Bad Guys turn around and get ready to fire on a transport full of refugees. With his weapons depleted and the Falcon damaged, the only way to save the transport is to ram the bad guys' ship at full speed. Han and Leia share a breif 'I love you/ I know' goodbye moment before going out in a heroic blaze of glory...while their daughter looks on in horror.

The concept of midiclorians was always, IMO, a weak explanation of the Force. It's plausible that someone would desire to study "them", and perhaps in time, learn to replicate them. Once that hard work is done, yes, they could be injected (maybe the trick would be to showcase how painstaking the research was - Jada Solo after all would be considered an incredibly special scientist). Now, does this take away from the mythology of the Force any more than the existence of midiclorians in the first place? I for one don't believe so. In a way, if numerous beings/creatures/etc from the universe obtain (or believe they can obtain) Force-like powers, this opens up a whole new discussion about the essence of what it means to be a Jedi or Sith. In this way, the whole revelation about midiclorians can become the catalyst for a very dynamic re-interpretation of Star Wars that could last for years. Or, we could just build a 3rd Death Star and call it "Death Star Tres".

There is a schism in Luke's fledgling New Jedi Order as a faction of the resurrected Jedi believe Luke's philosophy is too conservative, wanting to explore other aspects of the Force to harness their gift. While Luke tries to uphold the ancient ways of the Jedi with the help of Obi Wan, Yoda and most of all his father, tensions in the Order reach boiling point until a mutiny takes place and fighting breaks out in the new Temple on Yavin IV, forcing Luke and a small group of students loyal to his teachings (including his niece) to escape to Coruscant. The leader of the mutineers, one of Luke's most promising and powerful students, styles himself the new Grand Master of the Order and begins to explore with his students avenues of the Force dangerously connected to the Dark Side. It's only a matter of time before he and his fellows fall completely, and a new Sith Order is born. They must be stopped before the peace of the Galaxy is once again torn apart...

    Episode VII

    AN ANCIENT PROPHECY

It is an uncertain time for the galaxy. Leaders of the ALLIANCE TO RESTORE THE REPUBLIC are divided, and disputes on governance have grown aggressive.

In the midst of this turmoil, a violent battle has broken out on the core world of Tanjay IV between leaders seeking the old ways of the Republic and those enforcing a reformation.

As a test to find a worthy successor, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker has sent two apprentices to end the battle and find a common goal to unite the powerful authorities....

The camera pans down to the industrialized canyon moon of Tanjay IV in the thick of a battle taking place on many levels. The native ships of Tanjay IV are distinguished from the aggressor ships from Coruscant. The native ships eventually win the battle, with the help of Luke's apprentices, forcing the aggressors to retreat and regroup on other non-populated parts of the planet.

Luke's apprentices, Will Speedcatcher and Kala Flo (a boy and a girl), meet with the native group, members of the Classicalists, who believe the New Republic should be exactly what the old one was, and that where it went wrong was in violating it's own constitution, such as allowing emergency powers to the Supreme Chancellor. They are lead primarily by Queen Solo and have the majority of the galaxy's populace on their side. We also learn that the aggresssors are members of the Reformists, who believe the New Republic should not allow force-users or force-sensitives to hold any positions within it. Had they been able to do that before, they believe, Palpatine would not have risen to power. However, these aggressors are a nondiplomatic subsection of the Reformists, who will stop at nothing to ban all force-sensitives from anything to do with politics. The terms of their permanent retreat is for Queen Solo and all other known force-sensitives in the Tanjay jurisdiction, to relinquish their positions. The intensity with which this group seeks this is mysterious to the Queen and her people, as well as to Will and Kala. The two investigate.

The middle section of the movie deals with Will and Kala attempting to uncover what's behind the aggression of this particular Reformist group. To do this, they set out to spy. They opt not to use Tanjayan transit or aid so as to avoid putting the defenders in harm's way. One of the principals they learned from Master Skywalker is never to stay with your allies when you make yourself a possible target. "You endanger the group".

Eventually, after many adventures within the caverns, they uncover the full text of the Prophesy of the Chosen One who will Bring Balance to the Force from the aggressors. According to the Prophecy, the Chosen One would "not be of those that make law, but of the Force". The next injunction, however, was what shocked to the two students. "For all who know the Force and still make law are the seed of it's imbalance." Both Palapatine AND the Jedi Council caused the imbalance! But why didn't the aggressors simply point this out instead of attacking? And why didn't Master Skywalker ever mention this about the Prophecy? Did he know? Is this a forgery? Tune in next week, when I think of better ways to flesh out this plot

Star Wars Episode VII The Rising of the Tide

    By Killer B Dunc

As we all know, at the end of Episode VI, Luke Skywalker restores peace to the galaxy by fighting his father, Anakin, to a near death light sabre battle in which Anakin turns back to the force and throws the Emperor over the rails and into oblivion. Anakin, dies soon after showing his face to his son for the first and last time. Peace is restored to the galaxy.

Fast forward 40 years into the future. After a long spell of peace the dark side is once again rearing it's ugly head. As in the past, the enemy is not so clear and operates as a secret society that is infiltrating every aspect of society from government to pop culture. The evil doctrine is sold to the masses in the most palatable medium available. Meanwhile, the galaxy has fallen on very hard economic times and members of the new trade federation on every planet in the star system are looking for answers in desperation. Trade tariffs and high taxes have driven major manufactures and employers to slash labor forces, therefore straining families to the limit and causing social unrest across the galaxy. Finally, food riots explode on Tatooine and thousands of people are killed by trade federation guards at the local food storage frigate. Similar events are spreading like wildfire across the galaxy and the citizens are crying out for answers. Suddenly, a savior appears offering a solution. His name is Amoba Kcarab. A wealthy entertainment mogul who has complete creative control of every news and media source around. Kcarab has been well versed in the ways of the Sith and sells his propaganda through his media conglomerate in multiple mediums, in turn poisoning the minds of the desperate masses and promising them prosperity by electing him to the highest office. The head of the Jedi Council, Luke Skywalker, calls an emergency meeting and warns the council of the media manipulation and tries to launch a counter campaign against Kcarab telling the people to remember the past tyranny that was imposed by Emperor Palpatine and how his father bought into the same lies. The Jedi, however, have been ridiculed by the media in the past few years as a dogmatic entity and a group that only cares about a certain few. Many Jedi have tried to refute these claims, but have fallen on deaf ears because of Kcarab's iron grip on public mouthpieces. Kcarab has created a new religion that requires the peoples obedience in trade for free food and entertainment at the cost of working families. Kcarab is not alone in this conquest for galactic domination for he is only the puppet of the greater evil that is Darth Nedib, a former minion of the fallen empire who was a defector during the battle of Hoth and was presumed killed in action. Darth Nedib was always aware that he possessed a concentrated amount of midi- chrorians living with in him, but had never spoken of his gift, humbling himself not to expose this to anyone for he had had a vision of one day ruling over a great nation. This nation will start from lies told vicariously through Kcarab and an army will be amassed by the willing and not through the means of drones as in the clone wars. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and the rest of the council sense that too many people have been brainwashed and see no choice but to split their forces and spread out across the galaxy and break with the traditional credo of being peacekeepers without being soldiers, to realizing that in order for the new republic to survive that an army of their own will have to be amassed, but under it's own vail of secrecy. And when the time to battle the dark side arrives, this time, they will be ready. An all out war is brewing for the hearts and minds of the new republic, and it will be an absolute battle of good vs. evil. Enter Episode VIII.

Star Wars Episode VII: A Prophecy of Darkness

Set 30 years after ROTJ, the galaxy is split in two. The once strong Empire has been removed from Coruscant but many planets did not wish to join the New Republic. Though peace has existed it has been tested many times. As the story begins, the two empires are on the brink of a galaxy war as the Republic gets more and more reports of genocide and mistreatment of citizens of the Empire. No longer wanting to stand idly by, The Republic readies for war not knowing the Empire is already attacking Republic worlds. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker has become an aging Jedi Knight. He has long searched for people sensitive in the ways of the force and has been unable to find anyone. Since his father and the emperor passed all those years ago the force has calmed. He has to listen harder, focus longer to achieve things that were easy when they were alive. In his studies of ancient lore he begins to believe a balance has been struck and the force is leaving the galaxy.

As the movie opens it pans to a star ship traveling in the far reaches of space with C3PO and R2 in his company. Luke is searching the galaxy in hopes of finding the force again. He longs for the strong connection to the force he once had. As he travels farther and farther into the outer rim his power continues to grow stronger and stronger. He begins to feel young again and can do things with the force he hasn't been able to in years. He passes a system of planets and feels a surge in the force and knows he has reached his destination.

He comes out of hyperspace into a shipyard with thousands of ships being constructed. Not of the republic but of something else. Imperial markings are upon everything. But the designs are nothing like the old empire ever made.

The story would involve Luke finding a planet of slaves constructing weapons of all kinds for their masters. Yet no masters exist. There are no slave traders in control. These people act like slaves. Labor all day and all night but there is no master readily known that is controlling them. All of them are force users. It is as if someone is controlling them from afar. It is an ancient Jedi world once strong and powerful and the center of the galaxy in a time long forgotten. Here is where he discovers the true nature of the so called prophecy of the chosen one, who the Jedi thought was Anakin, his father. In reality it was something drastically different and more sinister than Luke could ever imagine. It did not involve the chosen one but instead the son of the chosen one; Luke Skywalker and the son of his sister. The Jedi lore was lost and has been misinterpreted as generations passed. The story of the chosen one was never to bring balance to the force but to turn light into dark.

Luke discovers a Lord Of The Sith must be controlling the slaves on this world and in the space above. This dark lord is also the one responsible for hiding the force from Luke. As he learns how to break the seal that has taken the force away from the known galaxy, the story moves to a young Solo on Coruscant who begins to feel power he never knew was possible.

That is whats spinning around in my head right now. I would go on to say that the young Solo would be the main protagonist. You would get his story with that of his companions. Luke showing up to save them mid-way through the film and helping the young Solo harness his power. I would have the young solo turn slightly dark as he discovers his power with Luke being his redemption and way to move towards the light. I would put a planet in peril with a rescue mission and a villian introduced that controls the current Empire. An apprentice to the Lord of The Sith mentioned earlier, but keep the main lord shrouded in mystery. Have the apprentice defeat Luke so he dies much like the mentor dies in Episodes 1 and 4. I would end the first with the young solo becoming Jedi and meeting other force sensitives and constructing some sort of academy to teach them and combat the sith. With the second film dealing with the teachings and becoming more involved with the so called prophecy. I dunno, but it was fun writing it.

How weird is that the two synopsis' I like best are written by "Landos"?:D

    Here's mine.

I would open with a New Republic space fortress (kinda like Bespin) under attack by unknown forces. It is explained in the opening text that the Empire is long gone, the Jedi Order is reestablished, but these peaceful times (under the leadership of Consuls Lando Calrissian and Ackbar - single leadership is outlawed) are ravaged by mysterious terrorists are guerilla attacks.

Two Republic bureaucrats (aliens) flee the space fortress on a starship but they are pursued by enemy starfighters. They are shot down and crashland on the nearby planet of Aquilae, a rainforest planet.

We cut to a human family on Aquilae: the son and daughter race each other on speeder bikes when they see the Republic ship crashing. They decide to check it out, they rescue the bureaucrats from local bandits. They return home and discuss how to get the bureaucrats to the nearby space port, before their father arrives who apparently doesn't like strangers. However, an enemy ship lands nearby and armoured troops spread out, led by a hooded figure.

The son and daughter hide the bureaucrats and decide to put up a fight, they get their blasters. A small blaster fight ensues with the enemy troops and the two heroes get the upper hand. However, the hooded figure appears and Force pushes the son into a rock, lethally wounding him. The daughter seems to be the next victim as the hooded man activates his red lightsaber, but another armoured figure appears - the father.

A furious duel begins: the hooded figure uses a lightsaber, the father uses a blaster, grenades and a jetpack to fly (reminiscent of Boba Fett). Suddenly, the hooded man is shot in the leg from behind: in the end the father wins by stabbing the man with his own lightsaber. He and his daughter watches in sorrow as the son dies in their arms. The father takes off his protective mask and we see his face: an aged Han Solo. It is also revealed that it was grey-maned Chewbacca who shot the hooded man. Han takes the enemy lightsaber and they bury his son. It is also revealed in this scene that Leia was killed long ago when she was a Consul.

They agree that they need to escape from Aquilae with the bureaucrats, but they have to traverse through the bandit territory. This proves to be impossible, the bandit leader captures them and decides to sell them in a slave market. Therefore they are all taken to another planet: Sullust.

    _____________

That's all I've got, somehow they manage to flee into Republic territory. They are taken to Coruscant where they meet with Lando, also Luke turns up (piloting the now Jedi-owned Millenium Falcon) who tells Han that his daughter is very strong in the Force. Han basically tells him to go to hell, because apparently, he blames Luke for Leia's death.

In the last battle against the mysterious enemy (I've no idea who they are:D), Han sacrifices himself by crashing his ship into the enemy mothership, but he tells Luke on the radio that he's forgiven.
