So what's the deal with locked threads? I just posted in the supposedly locked Hobbit thread, but another (http://boards.theforce.net/threads/what-is-your-favorite-star-wars-track.11611824/]Favorite[/url] SW track) right next to it is truly locked.

 

Unlocked. That is truly weird. It's also truncated, which is being worked on.

It's just about dark now, I've been home for over 30 minutes, and I've only had four trick-or-treaters to far. Everybody must be making a last-minute costume switch from Mickey Mouse to Han Solo. My five-year-old nephew is going as Indy this year. He's got the hat, a whip and everything.

It's good to see more old familiar faces icons here in the Tavern.

Good to see you too, Strilo. Good to see so many familiar names around, really.

Truth be told, I was really burnt out after ROTS came out. Also, I was a little depressed. I realized that this place had become such a huge part of my daily routine and I was kind of afraid of what the future would bring once the Sith conversation dried up. I made the decision to pretty much cut ties and find other things to occupy my time, which I have been successful with. (Being married helps.)

I was actually mad when I first heard the news of the Disney acquisition. It seemed like a total sell-out move and I thought that it would have been better had George let the thing die in dignity. After having a few days to mull on it, however, I have to say that I am pretty excited to see the direction that the series and saga takes. The seventh movie (wow, feels weird to say) will be a make-it or break it-film for me. If it seems like the new blood is respectful of the saga and has a worthwhile story to tell, I am all in for this new triology. If it seems like a cynical, assembly-line cash grab, I think I'll just pretend that the saga ended with Jedi. (Just like I believe that Aliens is the only Alien sequel and The Matrix is a stand-alone movie.)
