It depends how far in advance...but no more than $50 or so.

 

Being more realistic, i'd definitely shell out again for the equivalent of a Hyperspace subscription to see behind-the-scenes material first. I think I would want to experience VII on midnight with a crowd of appreciative, SW-hungry fans, rather than a select group of people that shelled out because they couldn't wait.

 

I'd drive across country with my friends in a van listening to nothing but RUSH just to steal an advanced copy of the movie.

I got to see Episode III a month in advance for free... and if my cousin still works at Hasbro, and Hasbro keeps making the toys, I'm sure the same will happen with the ST!

i honestly don't think i would want to see it early. if the prequels taught me anything it's that the lead up to the films can be more fun than the films themselves.
