Birthday season is around, the precursor to the other holidays at the end of the year. My sister's is this Tuesday and since she kept telling me that she needed a good book to read, I'm sending her two of my favorites. Mine is on the 26th.

They are funny, but there are so many! They are beginning to drive me crazy.

What gets me is the putting of Micky mouse ears on EVERYTHING that is SW. It got old on Wednesday.

Thankfully my FB feed has gone onto mock the Boy Meets World sequel.

 

You know what I've gotten sick of? People complaining about SW/Disney stuff.

 

DarthIshtar One side of my family's birthday season just finished. We have so many bunched together around October we have a get-together to knock 'em all
out at once. The other side does a similar deal in April (which is where mine is).

 

I have to say I agree with Dantana on that one.

 

I'm looking forward to a new movie. I like Disney. I am just curious as to what they are going to do. I want to know what will happen, but you know Star Wars films have tighter security than Norad. I will probably have to wait until 2014 before I hear any rumors with any validity.

And I can care less about SW/Disney, but it is getting annoying having to scroll down five pages of Facebook reposts a drawing of the Death Star with Mickey Mouse ears. Why do I have so many Star War fans as friends?!

 

Every time I see Episode Seven given the acronym (?) EVII, my brain automatically translates it as EVIL. I swear there's something wrong with me.

 

I thought it was just me!!!

 

Unless it's out of an 'official' mouth, I'm not listening to ANY rumors. I highly doubt any source can be tagged as 'reliable' at this point. Things will quite down soon. Give it a week, or less.

Though, I can't wait until the Disney store starts selling SW stuff! I don't live anywhere near one, but next summer I have to go to a wedding in a city where they do. This past summer I was visiting family there and I spent a good hour and too much money in the Disney store. It's my only retail addiction.

I laughed at the EVII thing. I've always shortened it to ep 7 or EP VII.

 

Face, that's how my family is with August. There was a time that my younger sister, my younger brother, my nephew, my older sister's fiance, my older sister's future step-son and my uncle used to have huge joint b-day parties because they were all born between August 1 and August 17. Now I have in-laws with birthdays in May and September, nephews born in April and May and December... But me and my older sister are the lone Novemberites. We're 1 year and 20 days apart because my parents were thrilled to adopt a girl in November '79 and then found out they were expecting a girl a few months later. So she's 11/6/79 and I'm 11/26/80.

 

If the new movie's good, then it'll be good. I'm kinda looking forward to it.
