There are many EU books about Vader's continued hunt for Jedi after Order 66. (Last of the Jedi, The Force Unleashed, Coruscuant Knights, Dark Times, The Rise & Fall of Darth Vader etc) Appaently he was more concerned about it then Palps was.

Also, there are Jedi the new order because Luke trained them. None of them are order 66 survivors.

 

Isn't K'Krukk an Order 66 survivor who lasted all the way to the Legacy era?

 

Possibly, I've not read the legacy era books. I was referring more to the initial Jedi Academy Trilogy trainees.

Yup, but he survives EVERYTHING. Its almost silly.

Not sure its that simple in practice but I can see that in intention. Anakin is buried with Padme as shown by the japor snippet. Watching Vader though, there is conflict. That is the point. Palpatine's corruption was incomplete. When Vader wakes up the first thing he asks about is his wife, his love remains. By saying that Vader killed her Palpatine created a Sith whose hate didn't come from hatred of others primarily but hatred of himself and his existence. That love remains unnecessary for 20 years until he finds his son and he's forced to remember the past and what he lost.

 

How many years was between the ending of ROTS and when Anakin gave Padme the necklace? How old was Anakin when he gave Padme the necklace? How old was Anakin when he got put in the robot suit at the end of ROTS?

 

Just over 13 years. He was going to turn 10 in TPM and was 23 in ROTS.

Where are you getting that info from? How do you know it's true? He was only 23 when he became a cyborg samurai? What? So one minute he's all handsome next minute he's the Vader from the OT?? How do you know he was 23?? I thought he was 22......

Btw, how old was jake lloyd when he played Anakin? He looks 5 or 6 years old...........

 

Jake was 8 (and Natalie was 16).
I am getting the info from official sources. Anakin was born in 41,9 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin), TPM took place in 32 BBY, AOTC in 22 BBY and ROTS in 19 BBY.

I know Jake's birthday, but from what month/year to what month/year was TMP being filmed??

Was Anakin closer to 9 or 10 at that point? Was Jake closer to 8 or 9? Was Natalie closer to 15, 16, or 17? How old was Padme in TPM?

How much time passed from the start of TPM to the end of it?

Also, did you noticed how Padme smiling at Anakin during the celebration mirrored Leia smiling at Luke-the female parent smiles at the male parent, the daughter smiles at the son-during a musical celebration at the end of destroying a space station in an explosion in space that father and son pilots both destroyed??

I try to do that, but research tells me a lot of different things and kinda contradicts itself..............

He was only in his early 20's when he got the Samurai Robot Suit and became a Sith Lord. Young looking Man. At least the prequels stayed faithful to that!

I don't understand what you are trying to say.

 

I meant that Lucas clearly likes both "Vader-who-is-also-Anakin" circa TESB/ROTJ*, and the "Vader-who-literally-kills-Anakin", i.e. this (earlier conception of) Vader being the "young Jedi" Vader that Ben mentioned in SW.

*who at least since ROTJ, was said/shown to have been an older fellow...which of course, this thread is all about.
