Social vs. Thread: Social Thread v9.0

Eighth year anniversary for me hit earlier this month... Didn't even notice. lol

 

Oh man, I passed ten years while the forums were down, just noticed. (I registered Boter, it didn't come into my e-mail address, so I registered DarthArjuna. A few years later... at the 5,000 post mark I think... I contacted Bertocci to see if the Boter account, which I'd forgotten about but I could see was registered with zero posts, was mine. So the registration date is accurate

 

I need some help. I'm in After Effects, trying to do some effects on some images from the Zombie walk yesterday. I'm using Looks, from Magic Bullet, but every time I actually try to add anything at all to the image, I get a pop up error that says, "Frame exceeds maxiumum GL texture size on this system"... Anyone have any idea what this is, and how to fix it?

I've never gotten it before, and the image is the same size as all the others that my phone takes, that I've done effects on...

Help me!

 

I kinda got around it. Imported the pictures into a different comp to do the fx. Still get the error with the full size pic, but still...

So, for those of you who still don't watch clone wars, (I'm not going to try and convince you to do so, other than simply making a statment about how the show has gotten so much better since that terrible movie... It's actually good now, lol)... But still, the clip they came out with today, for the episode in the morning, is pretty cool.

Ahsoka, was kidnapped at the end of the last episode. Which came as a big shock, because it just happened out of nowhere without any warning. And after she had just gotten done being a badass. Anyway, tomorrows episode is about them mounting a rescue mission to get her, (I assume, based on the title of the episode)...

Lol, no worries. Just finished with series 4, waiting for series 5 to be released on DVD now. I particularly want the episode with David Tennant.

 

I feel a great disturbance in the force. As if millions of turkeys cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced...

 

I was pondering some possible future choreography for a lightsaber video the other day and wanted opinions.

Florentine fighter (same length blades) versus sword and board (energy shield). Think it could work? It would be interesting translating the moves used in a real world fight to the Star Wars weapons, I think.

Maybe I should have gone with 'Boo' instead then.

 

Misayhara, my current favorite for two combatants wielding two weapons is actually Optimus vs. Sentinal Prime in TF3: Dark of the Moon. Optimus had a sword and his big axe, which sort of doubled as a shield, but it's more or less the same setup. If they can make it work for giant robots, I'm sure you've got a shot.

Might want to check that out, if you haven't. It's pretty similar to what you're talking about.
