    Good luck Zarkinfrood :)

    Here's to HL3 [face_coffee]

Quick question guys; when one is quoting from a long paragraph but only refering to a short part of it (as I do above) is it ok to <snip> the bits not applicable to the reply or is that bad form?

Sometimes it can be confusing if you don't snip out the parts that don't apply to the conversation.

It's really up to you if you want to go the extra step.

Several of us made that mistake I think. For some reason birds of prey we tend to assume are male. Ridiculous and unsubstantiated assumptions.

My back and neck are really complaining today after standing out in the damp, cool air for nearly 2 hours yesterday so that I could vote.

Falcon sis and Swannie sis, I hope that you both start feeling better soon. [:D]

That is no fun what so ever. I hope that you can get some relief.

[face_skull] I'll let you off with a warning

[face_laugh] Over the past ten years and nine months and I used to have female in my profile. It didn't seem to matter and without females the bird population would not survive

Thanks DG Bro [:D] I don't think the lunch I ate is barely sitting well with me. Indigestion. very odd.

    too late [face_skull]

Lunch? I just had breakfast. A nice big, fat pancake. :p In a few hours I'll be frying chicken and dill pickle chips and fixing mashed taters and corn to go along with it. =P~

Man, Falcon swoops out of nowhere. You gotta feel sorry for the voles!

    Jealous of Darth Gangrenous' breakfast.

Can I just say that I'm sick of "Ancient Mystical Technology" as the crutch of bad writing? Thank you. I'm done.

    That was totally random

Sorry, I was just thinking of dozens of books, tv shows, movies, and other that used the idea of this ancient mystical technology and seemed to think that it wasn't necessary to have an actual story. It was quite random. Even by my standards. And some would say that I don't have any. :p

I stand by the fact that Stargate is the only thing that can really pull off 'Ancient Technology that is somehow better than everything else' well :p

Yeah time traveling, the only good time traveling was the time machine, other then that the rest is well. Predictable and boring

ME is different though, since all tech is based in some way off of Reaper-Tech. At least in Stargate some things are improved (Asgard tech) :p

EDIT: Also, Stargate gave us this:

I mean, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the series that did it usually, but it just feels like it's time to find a new cliché.
