JCC [Reactions] U.S. Presidential Election Day 2012

My reaction was this.

American's who voted for Obama are responsible for the actions he and his administration takes.

People voted for free crap and won.

Stock up on as much manufactured goods Obummer could ban or tax through illegal executive order (AR/AK/FAL/ETC) stripped lowers, ammo, components, high capacity magazines.

Remove your money from any baseless investment.

I am feeling extremely bullish on commodities.

If you think food comes from the grocery store, I hope you like like to pay through the nose or go hungry.

 

The GOP leadership would be wise to stopping hugging this chimera so fiercely. I understand they encouraged the belief to motivate voters but, as predicted, it didn't work and now they're stuck with the aftereffects.

 

Free stuff like a Tax Cut during a war?

Or a magical tax cut that would lower the deficit while still not raising any new revenue?

Anyone know why Florida is taking so long?

 

with obummer winning the nation by a projected 3% of the popular vote, let's harken back to the days of white male-only voting to recognize what is wrong with this country. some data from the desolate swamplands of florida is not in yet, but let's look at some figures and compare them to the national vote.

Compared to the national total:
-Whites 18-29: 44-51 (+9 R)
-White males 18-29 (projected): 42-56 (+11 R)
-White males: 35-64: (+18 R)
-Non-whites: 80.5-19.5 (+27.5 D)
-Whites: 39-59 (+14 R)

Compared to each other:
-White-nonwhite difference: (+41.5 R)
-White male-nonwhite difference: (+44.5 R)
-White male-black difference: (+58 R)
-White male-white female difference: 35-42 (+7 R)

these results are substantially more divided than they were even in 2008.

Does anyone else find it amusing that Romney would have still lost the state he was supposedly a "successful" "bipartisan" governor of even when you take out all minorities and women?

Politics and whatnot aside, this has to have been one of the most amusing elections in memory, not just for the delicious memes and stupid statements made by various political officials, but the outcry by disappointed citizens has been nothing short of comedy gold. The proclamations of doom and evil have me almost falling out of my chair laughing. When your guys loses, its suddenly not democracy or not America anymore. What nonsense.

Today is am relieved.

 

I put this together real quick so it's not flawless, but it seems to show a rather polarized electorate in NH. Moreso than in previous elections methinks. Many of the 10+ margins were 20+... I may have to revisit to give a more refined scale.

 

Just out of morbid curiosity, does anybody know what precentage of the vote Gary Johnston and Rosanne Barr got last night?
