Is it messed up for me to want at least one of these younglings to kick the bucket?

So Hondo assists Ahsoka in bringing her rocket launchers in "Tipping Points", but then attacks her ship and her youngling charges in this episode? It must be a love/hate relationship. I wonder when Ahsoka will snap and remove his head from his shoulders.

    Shoot them all, I say.

Probably never - Hondo is stronger even than Ahsoka Sue.

Ahsoka is merely playing with Hondo like a cat plays with a mouse. Once Ahsoka gets bored, well...that will be that.

I've seen TV shows before where I've wanted all the kids to drop dead, that's pretty sick huh? None of these kids are really have me wanting them to die yet.

We're certainly seeing plenty of Hondo this season. I kinda think Cad Bane would be alot of fun in this arc.

Even if you say that like "Good morning" here, I will agree. The episode does seem to be quite bound for awesomeness.

These days I have noticed that they give each writer an entire arc to write, which is both good and a bad thing.
Like with Onderon, Umbara, and Mon Calamari. The writer is given too much time on his own so he could waste time or have filler more. Most of the times it feels like most arcs by one writer are just single episodes that have been stretched too long.

Back in the day when each episode of an arc was written by a different writer meant that each episode would have it's own feel done by different writers. Each writer brings his own style into an episode. That is why arcs like Ryloth or the first Mandalore arc felt so nice. Cause each episode had a different feel to it.
But today each episode of an entire arc has the same feel and most times like Onderon and Umbara, the episodes feel too much alike and almost like repeats of the previous episode before them. The reason why Umbara failed so much and so did Onderon.

The thing with Hondo, and I think they've made this fairly clear over the years, is his loyalty is always all about the money. In "Bounty Hunters" he was against the Jedi because he was after something valuable they were guarding...until the effort stopped being profitable, then he split. He steps aside in "Lethal Trackdown" because there's nothing in it for him. He sides with the Jedi in "Tipping Points" because they flat out paid him to.

Now, he sees something incredibly valuable and goes after it. He doesn't hold grudges, it's never personal. It's just always about the money.
