Hi everybody. There we go spamming the Cloud City Cantina with greetings again. What's happening?
For dinner I had tofu skins.

 

Nothing much is happening at the moment.

 

Tofu skins? why not eat the whole thing? I'm confused

 

Tofu skins form on the surface of soymilk.
These dim sum things are wrapped in the skins, which are deep-fried, but I also eat them plain.

 

like pudding skins? wait, soymilk? I thought tofu was made from soy beans?

 

The definition of tofu is varied. Soymilk is also made from soy beans. Maybe I should have said "soymilk skins".

 

soymilk skins makes more sense.its like whale blubber made from ice cream and vise versa, its a delicate cycle.

 

But one of the non-English names for the skins is literally "tofu skins". Not soymilk.

 

American English or the queens English?

do you have a Recipe? and are the main dishes only or can the be made into desserts as well?
