Oh ok. That's what I suspected. I was a SATCOM officer.

 

US Army Reserve. I was OHARNG.

Good too see more ARMY around these parts. Never knew how much someone could cuss until you are in the service, it's a habit I still haven't broken either. Though I try to remember to cuss in mando'a around my kids. Of course they still pick it up and then they use it. Nothing like hearing a 4 or 5 year old tell be something they don't like is pure osik.

 

I agree that no matter if you use english or mando'a, your kids will pick up on it. The difference is, when they use fictional cuss words it's not as bad....at least in public lol.

But that's why I'm trying to stop now, before my daughter actually stops talking.

 

Good luck. We always had a bunch of guys in my company trying to kick that habit for the same reason. I don't think anyone ever made it

I'm back. And stressing over the test since my grade is already low at 71...

Math. AKA, Sky-Guy's worst subject...

 

Ah.... That was always my favorite.

 

History is my favorite. I've just never been particularly good at math.

 

Ah.... I enjoyed history, as well.

 

I was actually going to college for history a major before I joined the service.

 

Ironically, I'm probably going to end up as a History Major

 

I hate my French class

 

I took German

Luck is a relative term...that class was far from a walk in the park

Also, I haven't made an effort to keep up and my last class was two years ago. So I'm rusty and probably got that wrong


EDIT: If you want to go direct translation, it would be 'Ja Deutscher ist hart'. But German has funky (To an American) grammar. But again, I may have gotten it wrong (probably did)
