Kinda surprised we won't see Anakin in this Arc especially since Ahsoka gets captured but Obi-Wan gets involved

I think who comes to the rescue depends on who is best in position to do it. We don't know where either is. Its not impossible Anakin is supposed to be on leave or something. Whatever the case Obi-wan may just be closer. Maybe no one will ever contact him about Ahsoka being captured in this case. There is no question what Anakin would do as soon as he heard about this.

I have a feeling that the Council will not tell Anakin about this just like they didn't tell him in the Rako Hardeen Arc

It'll be interesting if Anakin secretly kills Hondo for it.

Perhaps this is something they will address.

Maybe that could be the reason why Anakin doesn't find out cause he will kill Hondo

    Hopefully they will.

I'm with Darth Vader on this one. The council not telling Anakin on purpose that Ahsoka has been kidnapped would create some good drama and totally build on that wedge getting driven between him and the Jedi Council. Its even worse (Or better? =b) that Obi-wan will be so directly involved. It really builds on what the Rako Hardeen arc setup.

I'm sure Ahsoka will mention it to Anakin afterwards.

Anakin didn't mention this at all on Onderon far as I can recall. Which would be typical anyways for TCW. Just have to see how the pieces fit when we get there.

Onderon is before this, I thought it was after but it's not.

I thought the Young Jedi arc explains why Hondo's fort is flattened in "Revival". "Revival" explains where Hondo got the weapons from which were stolen by Maul and Savage in the first place and given to Ahsoka and the Rebels in the Onderon arc.

Well Hondo's base is intact when Anakin goes there in the Onderon arc.

Hmm... well. That's interesting. We'll have to see whatever happens after this then. If Clovis comes back into the picture to quickly this story might not take Anakin's interest for long.

Maybe the Clovis arc takes place during the Youngling arc.

It may even take place during Revival.

We don't know how far Revival is after the Youngling arc, so Anakin could still be with Padme and Clovis during Revival.

I guess Obi-wan could get redirected from his search for Maul and drop Adi off somewhere.

    This was a good episode...

+ It was a nice surprise to see Hondo use an electro staff again.
+ I was happy that there was an Ishi Tib pirate, I would like to see more none Weequay pirates working for Hondo in the future.
+ It was nice to see Gwarm again.
+ I enjoyed the fight with Huyang and that pirate.

I am looking forward to the next episode.

Hondo's base is intact during Onderon, so his base being destroyed here would place "Revival" after this episode.

EDIT: More posts afterwards. Should have checked.

Yeah, I didn't remember Hondo's base wasn't destroyed in Onderon. But I know "Revival" is after the Young Jedi arc.

Not telling Anakin is in the best interest of the Council ..to the Council
In the long run, it's just one more step closer to you know what....well, we know, they don't.......dark side clouds everything

another few things from this episode that haven't already been mentioned

the stoner boyfriend from American Dad is Petro.......i can't take him seriously because of that

the 0 gravity fight scene was SO INCEPTION
and on a Christopher Nolan note
throwing the smoke things into the vent shafts was like the League of Shadows guy throwing a smoke grenade in the sewer in TDKR "Smoke 'Em Out!"

also Yoda's absence, even if explained by people here (who know what they're talking about that's not my point) HAS to be acknowledged. Youngsters watching are like 'Hey, isn't Yoda "head Jedi," why are these youngsters flying through space with invaluable crystals with an astromech pilot and a padawan for supervision?

also as for Ashoka's fate, it is way too important to be decided by Pirates

also Hondo is cool and all, but this is the Clone Wars not the Pirate Wars..hes in every arc!

    thanks,
    -O66S

    Tipping Points:

Further evidence that this arc was to take place before the season premiere: Hondo's base is intact, where as we see it smashed later on when Darth Maul arrives in "Revival." More on this in the next arc.

    Next arc - Young Jedi.

It is coming! Grievous is coming...

It is a great thing that most of the main cast are gone for good in this arc.
