Speculation Darth Vader to be Resurrected

hello all....first time post.

this is what i think.....disney have just spent $4.0b dollars on lucasfilm , they will want to recoup some of that money as soon as possible and they are not stupid. They know fans love the OT and not the prequel and I can see vader returning....who knows what the emporer did , did he make a clone of vader , did he see anakin moving away from the dark side...

i think a new sith/dark jedi will don the suit to 'finish off' what vader started and all the regular characters will return....

what i will say is this. Lucas is a very very stupid man. Who enivisages a 12 part movie series and kills off the main character after 3 films ( 6 if you inlcude the PT ).

 

Lame.

 

It will ruin his character, he ended his life with redemption, saved his son and fulfilled the prophecy, then return as the Jedi force ghost. It's perfect and that should be end of Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader's story.

A movie between the sequels and the prequels would allow Darth Vader to return.

 

Wouldn't exactly be a sequel then.

"Interquel" is the term I've usually seen used. Shadows of the Empire was the main novel "interquel" to Empire Strikes Back & Return of the Jedi, for example.

 

Ways to return in a movie, without being actually alive

1)In the opening, like Sauron in Lord of the Rings
2)Impostor, as in the Hand of Thrawn
3)Flashbacks
4)Force Ghost
5)Madness

 

That escalated rather quickly.

 

No, I mean the character being mad and seeing illusions.

BTW, it's kinda understandable. Disney paid 4 billions for one franchise with probably one of the most iconic villain ever.

So who they want to use for their movie ? Vader or a C-list Sith ?

 

Thrawn, as for Sith they could bring old ones like Darth Tenebrous or young Sith like Darth Caedus.

2)Darth Caedus sucked (and his plan was suspiciously alike Code Geass)

 

Vader is alive?

Darth Caedus' reign was too short and the story could be improved, but that's still better than bring Vader back to ruin both the PT and the OT.

 

Stay calm folks, the next year is gonna be full of "insiders" of all sorts trying to make waves and be a part of this thing. 99% will be bantha fodder. There are no rules on the net. Anyone can say anything to bring traffic. That said, I feel Vader would be a really cheap plot device.

 

I guess George R. R. Martin is more stupid.

Well, I've noticed some people say that this is simply a rumor but you know what? Michael Arndt writing the screenplay to the sequel trilogy was simply a rumor at first. Then it turned out to be true...

 

This is bull. "Film mole" my butt.

That is flawed logic.

 

Why?

 

How about;

A new suit is built around a droid body to get close to Luke, but it gets inhabited by the ghost of Anakin instead. He has no powers and just acts like an advisor while answering Luke's questions about the past.

 

Not a chance in hell.

 

This would put the nail in the coffin for me. I don't see any logic in bringing Vader back at all.

 

I want JEJ, no Vader imitators. Chad Vader should never grace a SW film.
