If they do that, were they really a true friend? I have learned over the years that some people come in to our lives for a day, some a few months, some a few years, some for a lifetime. But each one teaches us something about them and ourselves, each one shows us something we need to learn. If a 'friend' is doing that, then you have to wonder how much they value your friendship, obviously not much, and then you have to ask yourself, do you need a friend who considers your friendship something to be tossed away in a heartbeat of anger or annoyance? I have a friend who hurt me very badly when I was ill. She and I have been close since we were 6 and 7 and when I got ill, she disappeared off the face of the earth. A few months later she called and asked to see me. She came over (I wasn't sure at first) and she told me she was afraid of losing me and played ostrich and it was her mother who told her she was a fool. She apologised to me humbly and said she'd never let that happen again, she is still my friend as she realised her mistake and was able to say sorry for it. Never once did she threaten to end our friendship over anything, ever. Forgiveness if important too, if this friend threatens that, let it go, and if they come back to apologise, then consider their offer. Some friends are not worth your efforts......they're exhausting. Weigh up the pros and cons mate, see if its worth it. ;)

This is probably why I have very few RL friends. That being said, they tend to be really good friends. Sucks that one of them is in the military now, and the others are at colleges different from mine. Oh well, I can still get in contact easily enough :D

I recently lost two friends to their own choices. Not fun. But my other friends are really great.

    Thanks JM77 :D

Falcon, I was doing a word play on 'denial' sort of how The (de) Nile (nial) is in Egypt. So he's in denial but he's not in Egypt where the Nile is. If that makes sense? :p
