Did you become a SW fan yesterday?!

There is the battle of Yavin, the chase in the asteroids in TESB, The Battle of Endor, The Battle of Naboo, The chase in the asteroids in AOTC, The amazing Battle of Coruscant. There have been a lot of space battles.
And TCW given it has more time can do even longer and more fun battles.

The problem is that Lucas applies Movie logic to a TV show - THAT ALWAYS FAILS.

The fact that you like it gives me hope.

I wonder how many wounded clones Obi-Wan killed by having the ship self-destruct?

If that was the case, I would think Cody would order one of their tanks to fire on Obi-Wan or something. Oh wait, er, nevermind.

GRIEVOUS WON and they even played the music from the Malevolence arc when Grievous destroyed Plo Koon's fleet. Awesome!

But I must say - the Jedi are sore losers.

Also, the episode reminded me of one of my favorite Pixar films "A Bug's Life" and that is why I felt at home watching this episode. By that I mean using the circus to infiltrate Hondo's.

I had no problems with the circus scenes. This episode was the best episode of the Young Jedi arc yet.

Totally! The Circus scene and Grievous fighting were the best part!

I just hated that they had to explain to the audience (and Grievous) via the Obi-wan Hologram that the ship was blowing up, just for continuity sake. MAYBE GRIEVOUS ACTUALLY WOULDN'T HAVE ESCAPED at all. The same thing happened in the Malevolence arc on Padme's ship, except she didn't tell him.

This episode reminded me of A:TLA. When the fambaa licked Hondo = Appa licking, well, everyone.
Sore losers, eh? I couldn't believe when Kenobi actually warned Grievous about the self-destruction. If he kept his mouth shut, Grievous would be destroyed. I understand that Kenobi is a fair man, and, perhaps honorably so, gave Grievous a sporting chance. But Kenobi's speech to Grievous was rather arrogant, in my opinion. Did he call Grievous just to gloat? "I win! Neener-neener!"
And good job with the Malevolence reference!

I love TCW when it goes zany. The episode started out deceptively serious.

And that Ithorian. That Ithorian. What the heck was he wearing?!?[face_laugh]

    1. Naboo
    2. Coruscant
    3. Yavin
    4. Endor
Off the top of my head...
    EDIT: Too late

+Nice opening with the space battle
+Gunji's lightsaber might be my favorite in all of Star Wars
+Poor Ahsoka, Hondo was a ***** with the drink
+"...a Female Jedi..." was delivered with chilling gleefullness
+The circus was actually pretty funny, defying my expectations
    +Grievous's win
    +Beautiful animation though
+Drunk Hondo was brilliant, Jim Cummings has never been better; "...I'm flying..."
+Great music when Byph was standing atop the ship, nice usage of drums
    -Space battle was too brief

Other notes: Was there potential foreshadowing with the shot of Ganodi looking forlornly upon the departing younglings and when the episode closed before they got to Ganodi at the ship? Or am I reading too much into this?

Great, great episode, although a few bits at Florrum could have allowed for a lengthier space battle. 10/10 for the bits of space battle, Gunji's awesome lightsaber, and Drunken Hondo flying into the air

Nice episode while totally random. Circus is a thing I thing we haven't really seen in SW before- maybe in some EU though. Drunken Hondo and random circus folk were so funny and Grievous actually fights rather well. (Why it had to be Obi-Wan again?)

+Space battle looked so awesome- they should make a full length episode of a space battle.
+Grievous had his magna guards with him- that haven't happened since[face_thinking] ..... I don't even know when it did happen last time- it has been so long:p .....
+Total randomness with circus folk- I liked the "moustache" of that dug and it was nice to see drunken pirates and circus- haha awesome[face_laugh]
    +Gamorrean clown[face_clown]
+ "We ARE children!"- that line really cracked me up- so true!

    -Obi and Grievous again
-No Admiral or Captain that would be a non-clone

Preigo was an interesting character, also had a cool model. I liked his big "moustache."

One thing I don't understand about this show is Hondo's base. It always looks different. I would like to know what the giant building in the background is, and why we haven't seen it since season 1.[IMG]
Edit: Also, if this is the only time (508 and 509) that we see Grievous, perhaps when we see him again he'll have a new model. The close-up of Grievous' face took me back to the Malevolence arc.

He could have multiple hide outs. It makes sense for a pirate to have more than one place to stay, to throw his enemies off.

Another enjoyable episode! I was really surprised at how much I laughed, especially toward the end. Drunk Hondo "flying" was probably the funniest thing the series has ever done. The space battle was stunning, and it lasted longer than I thought it would. I'm still waiting for an entire episode devoted to dogfights in space.

One thing that disappointed me was the Obi-Wan/Grievous fight. If the writers are going to mess with continuity and have them constantly face each other, they could at least give us a full-length duel. I also didn't like the fact that Grievous ran away and lost the cruiser at the end. Sure, he had a really awesome sequence at the beginning of the episode, but it would be nice if one of his victories over the Republic lasted more than two minutes.
