Sadly, I must admit my hairline is receding. Cooooooooostanza! With this mug and soon a quite pointy hairline, I am officially in a hurry to get hitched before it's too late.

The name is a play on Windu. He has a violet sword and is quite violent. Also, by looking at him you just know the guy is a menace.

But, the conclusion to this is of course that although we have ruled out that I am violent or violet, we apparently have established that I am indeed a menace.

Hahaha funnily enough, that was one of my meltdowns of reverse culture shock upon returning home from living in Prague. After 4 months of just edam cheese, upon going to the grocery store back home for the first time, there was yellow cheese. And not just yellow cheeses, there was CHEDDAR. Beautiful, delicious, cheddar.

(There was also a meltdown at the checkout because they bagged all my food for me. And one when the subway at the Atlanta airport spoke in English... And when I had to buy something with American money...)

 

Um, you can get cheddar in Prague, too...

 

Yup, even greyer these days. Before the UK's first Tough Mudder in May. Was meant to be doing another one this weekend, but work got in the way dammit. My friend did it in 2 hours 15 - nearly 20 mins faster than last time. *Jealous*.

 

i remember this well, also the shock of turning on the tv and hearing people speaking your language. it's like an out-of-body experience.

AAAAAH, yeah, I swing a kettlebell or two. Not as much as I'd like, lately - work's been getting in the way. Need to do something about that - i'm signed up for 2 Tough Mudders, 3 Spartan races and a 3 mile sea swim next year

 

i had to look up tough mudder. it sounds insane!

 

It's GREAT fun!

Life is too damn easy these days. I sit around all day in an air conditioned office tapping away at a keyboard. It's great to get out and run through a bunch of mud and get electrocuted etc. Gives me a reason to get up on a Saturday morning to do hill sprints and wade through a lake. it's also significantly cheaper than getting someone to walk all over you in stilettos

 

i'm sure there's a tough mudder somewhere in the world where you have to lie down in the mud and let someone walk all over you in stilettos at one point. so you can have your cake and eat it too!
