I think Lucas did film Boba Fett climbin out of sarlacc but didn't include it in the final cut because it looked like a loose end.

I doubt he filmed it. Maybe it was storyboarded?

According to a GL quote on the Wook (which seems verbatim) "putting the extra shot in" was "contemplated". GL is also quoted there as saying 'most people don't believe he died anyway'.

I was trying to find a good head-shake .gif for Lucas' idea that "people don't believe he died anyway," since I thought that was kind of the point of his landing in the sarlacc pit. Dude died.

Boba Fett's first comeback was in Marvel SW, when Han returned to Tatooine, and found Boba in a Jawa sandcrawler.

Which ends up falling into the Sarlacc's maw, with Han trying to rescue Boba but failing.

Subsequent sources, as far as I can tell, ignore that incident.

Sarlacc digestion takes place over 1,000 years. He was mostly intact. He was protected by his armor.

The movies. And books. And canon.

No. The movie shows Fett falling into the pit, but it stops right there. The audience fills in the blanks after that. So, we all imagine that Fett dies there because that is where we see him last. But the camera moves away from the pit. The story follows Luke. So, we do not see Fett being digested. If we do not see it, then we cannot know for sure that it happened. If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound and did it really fall?

The movie is two hours long. It can't show everything that happens.
From books, we know that Boba Fett fell all the way in. He found another guy in there and they talked. The Boba Fett goaded the sarlacc into contracting around his jetpack, which ignited and flew him out of there. Fett was found by another bounty hunter.
If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is there to hear it, it technically still makes a sound, because SCIENCE: sound waves are still created from atoms falling. If you turn off all the lights and hold a crayon, it still has color, even though no one can see it.

Yes, Plagueis (the novel) is canon. And no, no, it doesn't.

I read the Plagueis book and it does in fact say that Tenebrous does not die.

Ahem. Page 18, about half way down, it's on a line by itself, so you can't miss it.

    "Tenebrous died while Plagueis observed."

Care to quote the line or lines in the book which demonstrate this?

He can't, because it doesn't. Nowhere in the Darth Plagueis novel does it say anything about Tenebrous body-hopping into Plagueis. In actual fact, about 2 lines on from the line I've quoted, it says that the ancient art of essence transfer had been lost, never having been taught to Tenebrous.

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rugess_Nome

However, this was not the end of Nome (Darth Tenebrous), who ensured the survival of his own consciousness into altered midi-chlorians—which he labeled maxi-chlorians. Those maxi-chlorians would then migrate not into the Force, but into Plagueis, the "diseased one". Not possessing a Bith's precision, Plagueis would never suspect Nome's consciousness was inside his body, infecting cells with maxi-chlorians that would cut off the host of its Force-sensitivity. In order to fulfill his goals, Nome sacrificed his ability to sense the motion of the future, something he no longer required since he already knew his future.[1]

As his body died, Rugess Nome entered his apprentice's body and slipped into his cells. As the retrovirus propagated, the Bith gained access to Plagueis' powers of foresight. At that moment, he discovered and felt Plagueis' own death at the hands of his apprentice, which was only visible as a smear of darkness. That vision horrified him; Plagueis would die too soon, and Nome would not fulfill his ultimate goal—seizing and becoming the Chosen One when he would appear.[1]
Seeking an answer to understand Plagueis' complacent behavior, Nome threw again his mind at the future, but could see nothing, as the retrovirus infected Plagueis' every cell; his apprentice was now robbed of his foresight power. Wholly giving himself to panic, Nome escaped Plagueis' body to think about a way out, only to discover his mummified remains. Time had passed, but the Sith Lord was unaware of it. He then wondered if his foresight, instead of being eliminated, had been twisted in upon itself, forcing him to endlessly relive his death. At that moment of realization, the Dark Lord wished he still had a mouth with which to scream.[1]

Right, so your knowledge isn't from the novel, which you profess to have read, it's from Wookieepedia, who have sourced their information from a short story within a magazine. Just as a brief FYI, it says nothing about Tenebrous hopping into Plagueis, but about Tenebrous being trapped within his own decaying body.

But just to repeat...this isn't from the novel, which you profess to have read. Troll much?

That's a quote from your Wookieepedia article. Not from the book. Nor from the short story.

    Try again.
