Speculation Thoughts about a new villain

Well if throw water in a fire you will get a cloud of Vapor, the same happens when you cauterize a wound. In Maul's case it was a preety big wound, so it's only logical that you get some (red) mist.
What always troubled me about the Special editions were all the unecessary fixes, but they left Ponda Baba's bloody arm in the cantina in the movie

 

well i just put that forth as a more viable option since evil yoda was too outlandish for some .. that said .. evil yoda is still a super awesome twist .. and if the idea is to incorporate established characters .. plus fill out the 9 part saga in a way that makes sense and is interesting and deciptive to the viewer but works from beginning to end .. i think we have 2 options .. yoda or jar jar ..

 

Well, since Yoda is dead, that might be a problem.

 

consider .. evil yoda / plaguis has a rep as mr. good guy .. he is a huge leader .. like the pope .. compared to the government .. his whole shebang is that he is good .. yet clearly he does some not so good stuff at times .. sidious was his apprentice and because yoda knows more than most anybody .. sidious knows almost as much and is therefore yodas closest equal .. yoda knows how to absorb dooku's electricity .. how did he learn that .. hmmmm ... yodas best bet was .. instead of telling everyone that yoda is evil and sidious knows his secrets and going and assasinating sidious .. yoda needed to enact a multigenerational plan to overthrow sidious .. while still looking like a good guy .. yoda distances himself by pretending to be old and dying 1. so he don't blow up on the death star .. and 2. so no one will suspect that all these wars are simply between 2 superpowerful foes .. as opposed to the illusion that it is the people/creatures that are all at war with each other .. yoda manipulated luke and anakin to be with sidious during his final checkmate move .. yoda did not expect luke to survive .. which could lead into a return of evil yoda to destroy luke .. so yoda didn't help luke for the purpose of keeping a distance from the final confrontation .. and yoda knows that the reality is yoda and sidious are a pretty close match due to sidious apprenticeship ... so he sends darth and luke to do the dirty work ... both unknowingly participating because they are distracted by all the father son drama yoda has conjured up over the generations .. also keep in mind .. luke and leia are darths kids .. yet yoda decides they should be hidden from darth .. like who does that? even if you think another is total evil .. you just don't go messing with their kids ... but the fact is that yoda knows darth is not evil .. but that a series of manipulations have caused darth to make fear based choices .. darth isn't even pure evil by the end of rots .. he is confused by padme and obi wan .. yet yoda steals his kids .. darth isnt even darth yet at that point .. in fact .. wouldn't darth be more likely to find peace and love in his heart if he had his 2 kids around .. instead of just losing padme he loses EVERYTHING .. thanks to good ole yoda's infinate wisdom ... so sidious couln't defeat yoda and yoda couldn't defeat sidious .. too closely matched .. therefore yoda needed to involve luke and darth so as to a. succeed and .. b. keep his rep as the good guy while painting sidious as the evil of the universe and turning all the jedi against him ... yoda could come back red .. would be awesome .. he could haunt lukes dreams as luke figures out what really happened and becomes angry that his family was used this way and becomes convinced that yoda is really alive ..

Not really. Apparenly we're just gonna resurrect every dead character in order to cover our bases with the fans.

Remember the show Dallas? Probably not -- I'm dating myself. But anyway, they wiped out a whole season attributing it to the dream of one of the characters. That's what some fans want apparently, wipe out the first 6 movies attributing it to a nightmare and all characters are alive!

 

I was born in '73. I remember Dallas, all right. I even watched the Bobby-in-the-shower episode that you're referring to.

 

I am fine with the evil Yoda theory. Evil Yoda can pretend to be good similar to how Sidious pretended to be your typical Chancellor. But the Good Sidious theory is much harder to believe. Because how could a good person murder jedi and enslave the Republic? How can a good person choose to pretend to be an evil Sith and can a good guy use the dark side of the force, like Sidious did, and still be a good guy?

Is the Evil Yoda theory on the premise that the sith are the good guys and the jedi are the bad guys?

 

The idea of evil Yoda is completely ridiculous on so many levels....if that ends up being the best idea the writers can generate then they weren't right for the job in the first place.

 

I am pretty sure they will not do the Evil Yoda twist, but it would make for a nice parody.

I always wondered if Yoda had a dark past. but that dark past stayed in the past and now he is good. He knew too much of the sith ways. Alway two there are. Let me just catch that sith lightning, ball it up and send it back to you.

I want to see a dark Jedi have his own version of Luke's Jedi training school. Luke is teaching say 10 young Jedi personally, meanwhile this villain is teaching his own pupils the dark side. It essentially becomes a group of evil Jedi vs Luke's (kind of like X-Men vs Magnetos Brotherhood of mutants).

 

Am I the only one that sees the absolute stupidity of the term "Dark Jedi"?? What brainiac thought that up anyway? An oxymoron specialist?

 

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Lumiya in the ST as long as she is done right. Though she's kinda weird in the LOTF books.

 

Sidious is basically a good guy .. like anakin .. that gets a little overwhelmed by his fear of how powerful and evil yoda is .. plus yoda has seemingly the universe in the palm of his hand and is so good at pretending he is the real good guy that Sidious kinda cracks .. his intent to stop yoda is right .. but how he handles it isn't ... similar to how anakin handles having his head messed with by so many .. but seriously .. what father (anakin)would not loose their mind if yoda and obi wan took his kids away? ... the whole concept does not label one good and one evil .. but acknowledges yoda has bad intentions and that there is a huge war between sidious and yoda underneath all the superficial wars going on which are just extensions of sidious and yodas respective power ... sidious .. like anakin .. is trying to do the right thing but sidious feels very strongly that the jedi are the evil in the universe ... thats why there are so few sith .. because the 'popular' opinion is that the jedi are the good guys .. so they have to work for good in secret ..

also ps .. anakin sounda a lil like anunaki .. hmmm

 

Lumiya... a character whose design is basically a serious of retcons. Yeah... no wonder she's weird.
