Rex's character developement is something I'm very interested in seeing continued as the seasons go on. The Umbara arc certainly tested him and we saw in Landing at Point Rain that he won't always follow orders if he thinks there's a better way but he's also been a rock for Anakin throughout every season.

Rex's character development is my favorite part of the series. I could go on about it all morning about him. We should move that to his thread, gladly. http://boards.theforce.net/threads/the-captain-rex-thread.30578814/

    And season one is overrated.

Sorry, Tom Kane - if there's one side that's "good" at all in this series, it's actually the Separatists.
The Box wasn't a terrible episode, but kind of unnecessary.
Ahsoka grew on me later, but until Season 3, she was a terrible character.
Onderon was good, but it had potential I thought was wasted.
Landing at Point Rain isn't awful, but it is overrated.
Hondo is an okay character, but overused. Cad Bane was way more interesting.
The Kitster and Ben Quadineros memes aren't funny.
There wasn't any real difference between Ahmed Best and BJ Hughes as the voice of Jar Jar - neither made the character worthwhile.
I like Obi-Wan, but this series has focused too much on him and too little on Anakin.
There's a lot of stuff in the Maul/Nightsisters arc that doesn't make any sense. And I don't mean in the Mortis "Contemplating the mysterious ways of the force" way. It just doesn't make any sense.
If there's one big flaw this series has, it's presenting interesting ideas and plot threads within an arc, and then not following up on them later on. They do this a lot. A good example: What was the fallout in the Jedi order from the Krell incident? Was it just swept under the rug?
The series as a whole is pretty uneven. When it's good, it's really good. But it often isn't.

I respect Garth but he is not like THE decider. I can give you a lot of people who loved the episode and think it was awesome. Even IGN and Big Shiny Robot loved the episode.

I think here comes the Cut line. TO EACH HIS OWN.

When you go to episodes like Evil Plans or Corruption, the opinion of liking them is more unpopular cause majority of people everywhere and even reviewer sites hate these episodes.

With episodes like Massacre or Water War or Mortis, things are more like 50/50 with favorable opinions being equal to the negative reactions.

I liked him a lot before Umbara. I mean I know you know me as the "Rex MUST DIE" poster but I used to love the character before season four.
    Umbara ruined him for me.
IMO Rex has awesome action scenes but lately has been written really badly. I should know cause of a few reasons:

    - I am a Separatist fan and I LOVE "The Deserter" mainly cause of Rex's story in it and the way he interacted with Cut.
    - Trespass is one of the most amazing episodes and Rex was awesome and I loved his walking like a bad*** and shooting. Awesome stuff.

Ohhhh... You are one to talk. Always praising the overrated Season Four.:p=((
Let's face it, looking back on Season Four with Season Five half way almost... Season Four was really not that good.
Biggest overrated thing was Umbara in Season Four. It is all about the visuals.
People tend to be swayed by the visuals and it becomes Bay's "Transformers" all over again. The fact the people watch it and pay for it does not make the movies good.

It is all opinions in the end.

You and I know Season One is still the best and Season Four will never top it.

I liked the earlier seasons, I just prefer the later seasons (well, at least the better parts of the later seasons).

Nice save. I will admit that as much as I dislike Season Four, there were some gems in it like Water War or Carnage of Krell or Kidnapped or Massacre or Bounty.

I hope next time we see Cut (maybe) he should just be wearing his hair down and longer. Go for the rocker look. I would like to see a clone with long hair. =b
