I'm still around (though I'm home) because I usually stay up this late. Gonna be heading to bed within the hour though.

Run, at dawn......yep, you're nuts. I hide under my pillow as the baby birds in the nest outside my window start chirping at dawn...and on occasion I yell at them to shut up!! But that is the extent of my dawn activity!

Are you ex military? I'm not fit, I know it, and by nature I'm lazy (I'm a Leo, lions love to lay about!) My sister in law runs every morning before work.....

No, not ex-military. I've just always liked to exercise. I can be quite lazy, I just like to get my workout in first. I'm off now. Have a good night, in case your asleep by the time I get back :)

Probably. Had a busy night. Son and I came to blows when he used up all the net (he loves to watch You Tube videos of others playing the games he plays and get hints from them) and he went outside to avoid the lecture. I followed him and he was balancing on a piece of wood while I spoke to him, then he suddenly jumped and cried out. I asked what happened and he said "Stood on a nail, I saw it, but didn't think it was sharp anymore!" My first thought? 'Idiot'. But I said "Take your shoe off and let's see." He was hesitant, said it was ok....then he took the shoe off......and the blood was flowing nicely, suddenly it really hurt! I got him inside leaving a trail of blood behind us and called his sister who has a Senior First Aid certificate. She bound the wound after disinfecting it and we called the Emergency Nurse Centre. Described the wound and such, she checked his records...yep, Tetanus shot was needed. So a trip to a late night clinic was taken and we got home at 9.30pm, his foot bandaged and his arm sore from a shot. Adventure, excitement, a Jedi craves NOT these things......

Oh dear oh dear, internet problems at home. They're fixing it for the whole apartment complex, so nothing to do but wait. Well, that and overuse the work internet. :p

Tell him not to lose hope. ;) It's not easy, but palaeobiology today is so much more than just museum science and stamp collecting; its important for understanding the past environments and climate change and is also used in exciting new fields like astrobiology (Australia is actually doing some good job there). It's only the dinosaurs that noone really cares about any longer, scientifically. :p

Sorry to hear he hurt his foot, hope he gets better. :)

    Spore? :p http://www.spore.com/ftl

And I'm back for a little while. Though when I do have to leave (for that Thanksgiving thing) I'll be gone for at least a few hours.

    EDIT: Correction...leaving now. I'll be back...eventually :p

I run when I have too, and that's not often! Morning all...

Daughters boyfriend contacted me, they'd had a fight and he called me mum, asking me to speak to her....yeah, she was being unreasonable, but he called me mum?!

I wish I hadn't forgotten to bring my pillow. Tomorrow my neck will be stiff.

Is mum any correlation to mommy? Or is it more on the lines of mom?
