I would love to see him as a Jedi.

 

I wouldn't be opposed to it. I doubt it'll happen, though--it's just another actor answering a question being posed to him.

 

Hemsworth is fine, because to be honest, whenever I played Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the character for Jaden Korr I always chose reminded me of Chris Hemsworth.

Loki wants to be in the movie. Thor wants to be in the movie. Why, oh why, can't they just flat out put Loki and Thor in the movie as Loki vs. Thor? They're still fighting across the nine-realms and just land in the middle of a Star Destroyer.

 

Um...seeing as Mr. Hemsworth will be involved in filming Avengers 2 during probably the same timeframe as Episode VII, and that his um...Norse haircut would need to be preserved for that particular role, it wouldn't be a very practical casting choice. It's nice to see enthusiasm from someone at least modestly famous and in demand these days in Hollywood though, the reaction to the whole writing bit seems to have largely been to flee in terror.

 

Yeah, because actors can only be in 1 movie a year.

No, but there is a limited amount of time in a year, and large scale action movies involving exotic locations and complex fight correography are particularly involved commitments.

The point is that Hemsworth has to preserve his Thor haircut for Avengers, meaning he can't change it to something else and play a hihly varied role while he has it (which is why he had the same cut in Snow White and the Huntsman). Unless you want his to look exactly the same (generally a bad idea) in Star Wars, that's a problem.

 

Also not true... they have this thing called "hair extensions" which are used quite frequently in the movie industry. 99% of the time, you can't tell the difference. You'd be surprised how many times you've seen actors with long hair in a movie that was completely fake.

 

I'm pretty certain that if Disney wanted Hemsworth in both Star Wars VII and Avengers 2 and they required him to have a different look then the hair and make up department on one of the productions could do something. The Avengers 2 team could make a hair piece for Hemsworth if he had a role in Star Wars that required his hair to be short, and if he had long hair in Star Wars Episode 7 then they'd just get the stylists to do something with it instead.

I could him in a Mando (since accent) type role, or maybe a Darth Stryfe type of thing (big bad guy favoured by main villain, but really essential).

 

Hemsworth would be great. He could be a good Skywalker/ Solo heir (although he may be a little old?). I think he would be great as a rogue/ smuggler type too. The more people with charisma in the film the better (where appropriate).

I suppose he talked to Natalie Portman about what's star wars was like to work on but can't see it as the Avengers 2 will take up all his time .

 

I dont think hair styles are of great concern in star wars
