I like the idea to scrap the Europa League and expand the CL.

 

Good God, no. By all means scrap the Europa League, but don't devalue the CL anymore than it already has been. If anything do it the other way round. Expand the Europa league, and keep the champions league as a LEAGUE for CHAMPIONS. The clue is in the name.

 

It should be the European Cup. Simple. It's a great idea.

 

I agree that it should be the European Cup but it definitely should not be watered down any more.

 

I'm with fish-boy. Make one competition and you're going to end up having even years where lesser clubs win. Reduce the size of UCL, so that it's truly elite, expand UEL, and also divide up the money better so that playing in the latter doesn't seem like punishment.
