I got a brand new copy of Hitman Absolution for half what they were asking for it in town the other day. £22 is not bad for a game that came out on Tuesday.

It seems, however, that I have also caught a vomiting bug off of mother-dearest. [face_sigh]

Not until tomorrow. It was in the Amazon black friday sales. Brick and mortar stores haven't adopted those sales in this country, probably because of the insanity it causes in America when the sale ticks around. :p

actually doesn't sound as epic when doen by an orchestra.

It's been done by an orchestra for the past 8 years. [face_shhh]

it's just clearer on the TV show, probably because they run it through the machine to make it sharper

in other news. I saw SKYFALL last night.
Wasn't a bad move. I especially like the callbacks to previous films. The Goldfinger car, Q, even the Scottish heritage of the Bond Family (all given proudly by Sean Connery).I especially liked the conversation in the museum "what were you expecting, an exploding pen - we don't do those kind of things anymore" and the whole "please return everything in one piece."

would have been cool if that gamekeeper was actually Sean Connery. :D Really nice tribute that would have been.

    Movie was long though.

So Ralph fiennes has obviously committed himself to doing several films as M, perhaps even Naomie Harris as well doing Moneypenny.

Not my favorite movie, IMO, but still good.

It's truly epic with the LSO, and with the BBC orchestra of Wales.
Oh, the best ones in orchestra for me are that, This Is Gallifrey and Vale Decem.
If only I had a HQ version to post.
I can't wait for the full recording of series 7, this song:

The plan was for Sean Connery to be the game keeper. But Sam Mendes decided it would have over powered the film and caused the rest of it to just be filler for the audience while they wait for the return of Connery, which makes a lot of sense. Personally I think it's the best Bond film in a very, very long time.
