I could care less about Casey Anthony. Even if it's the 'smoking gun' that proves she killed her kid, it's not like she can be tried for it again at this point; double jeopardy and all that. Plus I think there's an Anthony thread floating around somewhere on the boards, probably locked though.

I get it, a pretty white woman killed a cute white girl. This deserves the media attention it receives.

And this time there's no one to sue them, like in the O.J. case.

 

Maybe not directly for the murder of her daughter, but she is being sued.

i guess you really could care less.

 

I don't, but that summer, you really could not turn on the TV or go much of anyplace without hearing some mention of the case, so yeah, I had heard of that lawsuit.

But honestly, she's not going to be charged again, and I'm indifferent to the lawsuit. I just want her (Anthony) to climb into the deepest hole and never come out again, just so we (hopefully) never have to hear of her again.

 

Blame Nancy Grace and her ilk.

 

Yep. Ms. Grace had her accused, tried, and convicted and made sure the public was ready to hang her before she was even arrested the second time out. It's one of many, many reasons why I can't stand her.
