    Yeah! Sounds about right...

But as many have said Star Wars is forever.

    That needs to be slang.

Hahahahhahahhaha... Nice. Hondo is fan-favorite with a huge fandom. Tikkes has had some fandom but I will admit he can not withstand the power of "I AM FLYYIIIINNNNNNGGG!!".

If anything if Tikkes comes to TCW, I would love him to act like the evil Hondo from "Test of Strength". Same attitude and way of speaking but more evil.

Such an arc could work for TCW.

I forgot that Lee-Char becomes Tikkes' servant and Ahsoka is also exterminated.

Lets give it up for how Hondo a job the legendary Jim Cummings did this arc.Completely stole the show. I <3 you Jim! He was four episodes of raw perfection in the role of Hondo. Seriously, I could listen to Hondo reading my car's owner's manual all day on repeat.

I think it's fair to say that these S5 episodes are the best received episodes to have contained Hondo. Dooku Captured and The Gungan General were typically polarising, hit-and-miss TCW S1 fare (I didn't care too much for them personally). Bounty Hunters wasn't liked by some for a variety of reasons (homages, etc.). Hondo was well-received, but whether the same was true about the episodes he featured in is dubious.

Compare and contrast with Revival, A Test of Strength, Bound for Rescue and A Necessary Bond.

Well, if it was not for Dooku Captured or Gungan General, there would not be the latest episode that we all love with Hondo.

S1 was and is mainly awesome. Like 90% is amazing compared to seasons 3 or 4. Plus, they were just starting out.
I am more likely to forgive TCW for mistakes in S1 or S2 but not in S4 or S5. So far there are little mistakes in S5. :D

For those who grew up in the 90s like me, Cummings brought 75% of my favorite childhood characters. I always liked Hondo's voice but wasn't particularly endeared to the character until Young Jedi aired. I'm afraid DBB may have been knocked out of his spot of my favorite TCW VA since I'm such a long time fan of his and its great to see Jim Cummings in such a cool role on one of my favorite animated shows again.

I'm talking of apparent consensus, DG. You may think S1 episodes were the best but the episode polls give an indication of what the consensus is.

People usually vote for the newest thing so that is no indication either. :D

When S2 came out, people said it was the best. Then the same with S3 and then with S4.

Um... have you looked at the S3 and S4 polls? People generally seemed to beat the hell out of those episodes (besides Umbara and then when you hit Plan of Dissent people get all upset again). I find the idea people always rate newest thing highly kinda sad just as I find it sad how folks tend to get all caught up in overrated nostalgia. Why haven't I gotten any calls on Windows 8 Phones yet then? "Dooku Captured" and "Gungan Captured" were inferior to all four episodes of this arc. And go read my review and what I said about the Young Jedi arc when I watched it all together please.

Ok. If compared to the Young Jedi arc, the S1 episodes about Hondo are weaker. Young Jedi is just TOO GOOD! I love it...

I did read it and nostalgia in the case of SW is never a bad thing. Especially if you are being let down by the newer seasons.

When I am let down by Umbara or Evil Plans, I go back and remember how amazing was Geonosis per say. ;)

Since the return of Slave I, I am eagerly awaiting Boba Fett to reclaim his ship, perhaps a battle with Hondo for it?

I know it is not. I know all episodes backwards and forwards. [face_dancing]
For me the good days of TCW were until the Boba Fett arc ended.

    But ok... Back to Hondo.

That WILL happen. Maybe off screen like many awesome things in the show.
But maybe it will be shown in a flashback cause we have been shown that Hondo knows all the major players - from Boba to Aurra to Jango to Dooku to Grievous to Maul.

Hondo is awesome. I would be darn if when the live-action series comes out and he is not in it...
