But for those, you must pay. If you just want to read a book, go to the local Public library. If they don't have it, you can ask them to buy it. (They usually do, especially if you ask nicely)

Yes, the ones I bought 2 months ago. [face_blush]

Well... most of the time. :p

I have a used bookstore nearby, they have the same 5 dollar deals. I bought many an English study novel there for very cheap.

well I understand people who like EU would like it

but the notions of Palpatine always being well a bad guy, with no hint of any remorse is kind of stupid

it's like he's a bland cartoon villain with no character at all

and uhh sorry but to me Plagueis was NOT alive during TPM that is just plain silly

    I'm the book bandit. :p
    I kid.

Honestly, they have no selection, and only give you a week to read the books, because of how little is there.

    @AmazingRick Hello!

I agree, Palpatine should have been given at least some sort of emotion, a more in depth story.

(I've heard very little about him, so if I'm wrong, teach me...)

Nope. Suburban town with 90,000+ residents.
    Our library just is awful.

I feel sorry for you, Book Bandit Volshe.
Ours is pretty nice. And all the librarians know me. At every branch. So I can convince them to get that book, or the missing Who set.....Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!

It would have been a mistake to do that, I think. Remember the "Anakin is nine" backlash?

AV is the only one not ignoring me

even though you're not religious volshe, it speaks volumes that you are very welcoming and actually adhere to scripture [:D]

I buy the ones I think'll be best, but ones I just want to read/can't afford-library. I have limited money, so I only buy the good ones.

    I replied to you above!

What about scripture? Did I miss something here, or is it so obvious I'm missing it?

Yeah, that is true. But considering the books is technically DARTH PLAGUEIS, the overall focus is not really on Palpatine, even if he play the second major part in it.

He doesn't really have a first name!
And why not? I think I would sympathise better with Palpy if he had a better story.

Aww. Thanks Rick! That means a lot. [:D]
