Face the facts, Bane made this film, and he was a better villain than the Joker. In every scene, he completely dominates the film. Best lines, best scenes.

That bit where Dredd killed someone in Dredd.

 

The slowmotion drug scenes were kinda......creepy in that. especially the end one.

 

The Hobbit, when Jackson redefined fantasy films (again!) and part 1 grossed $2 billion worldwide.

 

Personally I like the Tony/Loki confrontation better, but then again I like my epicness mixed in with snarky humor.

 

Ooh boy, thems fighting words.

I so disagree. Hardy's Bane was good, but he can't touch Ledger's Joker. Not in a million years.

Back to topic. Skyfall. Every scene with Silva and everything at Skyfall Lodge and beyond.

I do like the moment where Stark lands on the pad of his tower and walks inward while the automation takes his armor off.

There is a quick moment at the end of The Hunger Games where Sutherland stands with an arm on his chest and his chin in the other hand as he contemplates what do to about the new heroes who won the game. Awesome villain moment.

 

I agree.

 

Batman Rises was a pretty terrible film, so it wasn't that hard to dominate. I'll certainly agree that he was its nonsensical centerpiece, and as such is pretty demonstrative of the films broader problems.

 

Wocky, you predisposed yourself to hating it even before it came out on the temp boards, so I don't know if your opinion holds much weight on TDKR.
