Hmm...I think that's Barriss standing next to Ahsoka. No Luminara, though... ...funny.

Is Barriss supposed to keep her hood on at all times? She's the only one with it up, I wasn't sure if it was a Mirialan thing or...

I'm not sure. Neither Luminara nor Barriss ever seem to take off their hoods/headgear. Maybe it's a Mirialan Jedi thing. There are plenty of Mirialans in The Old Republic video game with no hoods, though how canonical that is, is anyone's guess.

Yeah, I agree the Jedi/Tarkin issue will probably focus on the non-clone officers.

Unless... the "secret weapon" of this episode happens to be a part of the future Death Star and Gascon gets a promotion to Tarkin's right-hand man (er -- snail?).

    [That is a joke.]

    [Unless it actually happens.]

I was saying in the other thread this is an espionage mission the droids are going on (I think). The republic is after something valuable enough they can't just send clones in and raid the ship for risk of destroying what they are after. Its something secret enough they need to basically set unassuming appliances down to listen and possibly steal it. Its something that'll be a big contribution to the war.

[Somehow Death Star crossed my mind.]

I'm not seeing Gascan either. Honestly, he probably won't live through the arc. That's a canon fodder character if ever I've seen one.

Yeah... given the history of new characters on this show, he is due for a killing off. Sadly...

If YJ wasn't aimed at younger viewers, I'd have said the same about our miniature-Jedi friends. ;)

Very quickly, yes, she is seen on Kashyyyk on the beach with clones. IIRC its just before Yoda and the council discuss Anakin or Obi-Wan going to Utapau.

Dan_Grievous_Tikkes_Fan, Yeah, that's how TCW likes to treat OCs but Frogman's death wouldn't be a big loss. He probably is going to go out in comical style anyways.

KenobiSkywalker, Frogman is 10x more likely to be canon fodder than any of the younglings... who are likely going to die anyways. Sorry for the spoiler kiddies.

Me, too. Seeing his size is a reminder that most of the show's character's are roughly human-sized. Its nice to see the crew try to break that mold again, like they did with the Lurmen.

It is always a refreshing change of pace.

Thanks for reminding me of the Lurmen, they were nice character designs. I myself am tired of all the human models that are too regular and normal.

I forgot Yoda and the Toydarians! That's another reason I like Ambush so much. Its really in the show's favor that they updated the Yoda model; I can't wait to see it again. I like how other characters, like Windu or Kenobi, have to work around Yoda's height. Walking slower and having to look down, I mean. GL had a good idea, when he came up with Palpatine's little green friend. On the other hand, I think GL did Yoda a great disservice by giving him that stupid hover chair in AOTC. I vastly preferred the original scene-concept that I glimpsed in the AOTC featurette.

I love the Toydarians. We need to see more of their culture.

Ambush was genius. If we see the new model again, it better be moving and doing the things from Ambush again. It was awesome to see the short Yoda OUT OF HIS GOD FORSAKEN CHAIR and on Illum.

What did those concepts of AOTC show?!

It was very quick, like 2 or 3 seconds long, and I don't think there's any audible dialogue. Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Mace were walking together. The location wasn't the same design as the final scene's; it was similar, but on a smaller scale. Do you have the AOTC extras DVD? I haven't watched the making-of in forever, so I could watch it and tell you where its at.
