Well we all know Harrison Ford is old now, but he keeps himself in exceptional shape! Mark Hammill on the other hand, will need a bit of boot camp I reckon, just in case he is shown up too much by new actors.

I love Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan. That said, it makes no sense for him to play Force Ghost Kenobi. So no.

Only if they include time travel which is strongly unneccesary.

I posted this elsewhere, but could be an interesting way to keep force ghosts involves with younger selves.

How about when you become a force ghost, your journey back to become one with the force is one where it is from the END to the beginning. You begin to regress through the most spiritual moments in your life, much like reflecting on when you were most spiritual or had your toughest most trying moments. Your outer force ghost appearance reflects your age at that time.

This could cover why we had a younger Anakin, now a younger Obi-Wan, and how Yoda can stick around for a while. Eventually You fade away into the very spirit you were prior to taking on the form you just were. Circle of life. Moving on to next embodiement when the force needs you.

It would be just plain stupid for McGregor to be in it as a force Ghost - there is no reason for it besides what are they going to do age him so he looks more like the Obi-Wan force ghost from ROTJ .

I love McGreggor as Obi-Wan but Force Ghost would be kinda weird. If anyone has to impart plot detail from beyond the grave, I'd say go with Anakin.

McGreggor Obi-Wan old holorecording about yadda yadda yadda (maybe setting up the threat of the new baddie?) that would be awesome.

Was there ever any one better suited for a role as Jedi In Star wars?

But I don't think they could work him in .

If Anakin can appear as a young man as a Force Ghost which makes no sense either then Obi-Wan can appear as a young man as a Force Ghost too :)

Obi wan already appeared as a force ghost the way he was when he died - old. The same with Yoda. And the idea is that Anakin was destroyed when he became Darth Vader, hence him appearing young as a ghost.

It would make no sense for Obi wan to appear young just because Ewan says he'd be up for a role. Anyway it would be disrespectful to Alec Guinness. It would be silly.

Of course Ewan wants to come back, it's Star Wars, and it pays very very nicely. But unfortunately for him he won't be needed. Stick to the convention circuit, Ewan, or move along. This isn't the role you're looking for.
