I could not get it to work. Apparently that was a common launch bug. Like, really guys? I love Hongkong. One of my favourite cities on Earth. And you denied it to me, (Developers)! :(

Going old school by revisiting Hitman: Codename 47, the very first entry into the series. With the latest installment just released, it's actually on my Christmas list for next month so I thought i'd revisit some frustrating yet breathtaking gameplay from the first game. It may not be the most polished or innovative of the series, but it's a true testament as to how far the series has come and a reminder as to how groundbreaking it was back then. If you're a Hitman fan and still haven't played this, get yourself a copy from gog.com.

Just 2 days ago, I got back into playing Ace Combat X Skies of Deception for my PSP. I finally dealt with Mission 6A which had the Gliepnir. Took care of that and now I have new missions to deal with such as the radar jamming and a mission where I have to try to sneak through gunboats and stuff. Its not easy lol

I have been a Hitman fan for years and I think my favourite Hitman level comes from the first one (Traditions of the Trade - so much better than the Contracts version!). But honestly? Still get Absolution, just prepare to be hugely let down.

I'm playing Far Cry 3. Interesting so far...

Will do, it's on my Christmas list. So far, my favourite mission has got to be the restaurant mission. I play it out almost exactly like Godfather except I disguise myself as the triad leader. Before doing so, I hide a gun in the bathroom, then, once in disguise, enter the bathroom, walk out into the restaurant, fire off a few rounds and escape through the window, change clothes and walk very casually down the street.

How is that? I've never played BG but wanted to. I've heard I should play the original, and I've heard I should play the EE. What would you suggest?

Anyone telling you to play the "original" is failing to tell you that you'll need about a dozen mods to make it playable with a modern PC and to fix all the bugs and apply the updates that the EE did. And even then you won't get everything, like the three new NPCs and sidequests that the EE added. For sure pick up the EE. It's available DRM free from beamdog.com. If you've never played it before though, be forewarned that Baldur's Gate is an unforgiving old-school RPG. No checkpoints. No arrows pointing the way to your next objective. Mages can be one-shot by the first enemy in the game. Etc. It's well worth it though. Just save early and save often.

Thanks. I have a good sized backlog that doesn't seem to be getting any smaller, but I'll be sure to work it in there eventually.

I'm playing an RPG called Hyperdimension Neptunia on the PS3. Its pretty fun, most characters are personifications of current consoles and various game developers.

I'm also playing Pokémon Black 2 on the DS.
