I'm just going to predict it now. Wac won't be a traitor but he will accidentally give the game away and make everyone mad. Then he will redeem himself and everyone will be all yay. Wac's character just screams cliche.

 

is there an episode on Saturday ? Or is TCW on a weeks break ?

This week there will be an episode.

When's the Darth Maul arc? As much as I love Maul why does every episode have to be a arc? Can't they just do a standalone episode like the season premiere?

 

Isn't the premiere technically the third part of the Maul returning arc ("Brothers", "Revenge", "Revival)?

 

The premiere was apart of the Shadow Conspiracy arc, but was moved up.

That's why everything's out of chronological order.

That's what I'm looking forward the most. Though Maul just ruining Obi-Wan's life, and the Mandalorian Civil War will make a great story.

 

could we see either the start of the Mandalorian arc or will we see the Clovis arc ?

Just watched it. New contender for worst episode of the series. Just lame from beginning to end. I don't think my face even moved the entire time, not even a hint of a smile.

WAC-47, the midget Colonel and the Doctor were all terribly unamusing.

At first I thought they used R2-KT, which I would have approved, but I was wrong.

A Separatist enigma machine might have made a good plot, but we'll never know now.

The super tactical droid still has a cool voice, but it won't be long before they're turned into complete clowns as well.

Noticed a clone intelligence officer in the narration. They've got clones breaking codes? What a waste of their abilities. It's time to fully integrate non-clone Republic officers into the Republic navy.

I keep mishearing the line "Stupid astromechs" as "Stupid ass mechs" when the battledroid says it. =b

 

I did the same thing. I actually thought that's what it was till I read this post.

 

I'm not going to lie, I fast forward half the episode because it was god awful.

That's the last I'll say in this thread.

 

I had to rewind that both times. It a probably that way on purpose.

 

This episode was quite underrated.

 

Usually, underrated refers to a show that is overlooked in comparison to its contemporaries. In this case, I see several people making their case for their like or dislike of the episode. It's not underrated, it's just crap to most of us.

 

It certainly did not activate my fun meter...

This episode gathered a 17 page-thread already? Isn't it usually only controversial ones that reach this kind of a post count?

 

Controversial episodes like this one would do that. A perfect episode like the previous one would not cause people are all in the same set of mind.

Obviously he is even more dangerous than a dalek.

 

The controversy is found in whether it should have even aired, let alone span four episodes.

 

IMO there's so much more to dislike about this episode than like/dislike about any other this season

 

I'm not seeing any rhyme or reason to the droid naming schemes. In ANH Luke refers to R2-D2 as an "R2 unit" which I figured implied more than one as a model with the naming scheme being R2 (model) D2 (unique number). Which is what the EU did. But now there are R4s and R6s that look exactly like R2s and "U9s" that are R5s, and QTs? Unless it's just coincidental that R2-D2 is an R2 unit... I can understand that they didn't want two R2s in this arc and changed R2-KT to something else to avoid calling her "R2" as well. But they could have just stuck to the nickname "Pink." And I don't see why the R4 and R5 units needed new names.

 

Having two R2s is a problem?! Well, they are calling the pink droid by her second set number and letter so I do not see the problem. There is NO PROBLEM.
