Full Series Anakin vs Clovis

Since the Clovis will be after the Droids (probably) so this thread is for whoever is rooting for and if Anakin beats up Clovis or Clovis beats up Anakin

 

How could Anakin possibly lose to Clovis?

It doesn't matter if Anakin beats up Rush, Rush will make it look good, while Anakin makes it look like this:

 

^Or Clovis will be dead long before Anakin makes out like that. Anakin might even ironically set Clovis on fire.

Obviously Anakin has the upper hand as he has the Dark Side as an ally. But if Padme distracts Anakin with her pleas for civility, Clovis might be able to knock Anakin across the back of the head with a very heavy object. *fingers crossed*

Even if Anakin "wins", it will be a Pyrrhic victory for him.

 

Anakin will destroy Clovis... and that's without touching the force.

 

Aaaahh... No, Anakin will defeat Clovis by cheating WITH the Force. That is like putting a skinny nerd against a huge guy on steroids - same thing.

 

Hopefully they'll get into some ridiculously drawn out They Live fist fight that eats up as much time as possible between action sequences so as not to leave any room for the awkward romance.

 

I've only seen Clovis in Season 2 so far, but that was enough. He was more annoying than Anakin ever was.

 

I take it that you've never seen a scrawny-nerd pwn a roid-monger? And why is it cheating?
If that is the case, then the droid moron cheats with mechanical parts, to use lightsabers...

And yes, saying it is not fair to put up an ordinary guy against a Force-powered person with anger issues. It is a fixed fight per say...


The droid moron!? Who could you possibly mean?! There are no droids that can wield lightsabers.

 

The cheating would be using the Force when it's not allowed by the rules.

 

I could see that going either way. In one instance, TCW is a time for Anakin to be a hero, and while he may occasionally stumble, he does mostly seem like a likeable hero IMO that makes progress with things such as his relationship to Ahsoka and becoming less overly protective as though he is making some progress in learning to let go of attachments. I kind of get the vibe that during TCW he is sort of shaping up to become a great Jedi despite the occasional stumble and that it is really only Padme that is his achilles heel. So on one hand, whatever conflict he has with Clovis, I could see him eventually learning to handle his feelings of jealousy, or since Clovis is a "threat" (in Anakin's mind anyway) to his achilles heel, it could be an exception in which he does something exceptionally dark. He already left Clovis for dead (or so Anakin thought) once, he could maybe take a more direct approach to finish Clovis and leave nothing to chance, while hiding his actions from Padme.

I can see either more development in the direction of Anakin dealing with his emotions and becoming more of a hero, or I could see a severe backslide with something evil. Though hopefully something significant happens one way or the other and there is some kind of development and not one of those stories in which Anakin is in the exact same place at the end as he was in the beginning.
