Speculation Who would play Jedi Twins (Images)

Based on the popularity of this thread http://boards.theforce.net/threads/...-young-female-skywalker-jedi-images.50005962/ I decided to make this thread.
Fraternal twins

Now they should be 1 boy and 1 girl and of course they need to look the same age, not be excatly the same age.
The first suggestion from the other thread was
Jason Ackles & Erica Durance both were born in 1978 making them 34, that's if you want to go older.
Then again you could go with two sets of twins one older one younger. The older ones would be Han and Leia's, the younger ones Luke's. Anyways post your ideal combo's

This seems like a chance for the Fox Dynasty to shine, seeing as they are related and all.

Probably a bit old to play children of the OT cast, of course that would depend when the movies were set.




But if we need younger - Emilia has a younger brother, Freddie who is 23

I'd have an easier time believing Summer Glau was the offspring of a one night stand between Nien Numb and Leia than Han and Leia.

 

The son from Tron has to play Han's son. He's almost perfect.



For the daughter, I know she may not be the hottest but as far as acting ability goes, and as far as showcasing elements of Fisher, I think Hathaway could work.



She and Heglund are only about 2 yrs apart. Both could still probably play people in their early twenties with makeup.

 

why does anne look older than she does in the above photo?

 

Hedlund does look like he could play the son of Han.

 

I totally forgot about Garrett Hedlund, I really liked him in Tron

I've heard Harrison Ford tell a story in an interview about a studio executive who told him that he'd never make it as a film star because he didn't have what Cary Grant had. According to the story, the excutive said "A guy like Cary Grant is a star because, even if he's playing a busboy, the audience sees him and thinks 'there goes a Movie Star!' and you just don't have that. . ." to which Harrison Ford replied, "If he's any good as an actor, and he's playing a busboy, shouldn't the audience look at him and think 'there goes a busboy?!'"

I don't know anything about the Foxes, but they look like good candidates to me; they even resemble Luke a little bit, which is fine since they're his niece and nephew. As far as being Han's kids, I think mannerisms go a long way; Han has such a distinct way of handling himself that a few subtle cues, grins, eye rolls, or reactions to various types of danger could tie the younger actors to his lineage without much question.

 

Isn't this just the other two threads in one in some cases? I think this is getting a little tedious why not just have a thread with all three castings in it? One thing they all have in common is young women and men playing roles in the new star wars trilogy....

 

I think good acting requires getting lost in the role to an extent. Daniel Day-Lewis does a great job with this along with Gary Oldman. Meryl Streep is another great example. I don't know if any of the actors I just menioned would want to be in Star Wars though.

 

I never realised she was Edward Fox's daughter.

 

I often forget whether it's James or Edward each of them is related to.

 

Actually I was thinking of James - I'm forever mixing them up name wise

 

Oldman had his chance and he blew it.

Daniel Day-Lewis isn't suited to Star Wars - he'd want to be maimed by a laser sword to know what it is like or insist on going to Mars to know what space travel is like.

I can only picture Ackles and Durance as twins - I can't think of anyone else.

 

However unlike the Star Trek universe, it seems in the SW universe there is no interbreeding amongst different species, never thought about it, until your post.

Yes there is. There's a fair bit in the EU, and in TCW there is an episode about a Clone Trooper who married a Twi'lek and has little half-breed kids.
