Full Series Yoda in TCW

I watched ROTS with some friends the other night. I had it set to play that clip at the end of the movie.

 

That clip used to show up on mine when i clicked play to watch the movie

I would love see Yoda v Dooku in the show. Yoda v Grievous would be pretty intense as well.

 

He would maybe do this if he was drunk.

I agree (from last page) that it'ss a disappointment having the series start out with as perfect a portrayal of Yoda as possible, even throwing in hints of his Ep. V character, and then never using him like that again.

I don't think I could stomach a Yoda/Grievous duel if Grievous was able to hold his own for any more than a few seconds. Now, Yoda versus Darth Tyranus, that I would definitely like to see.

 

Hopefully the Yoda arc we are promised pans out. I would really like to hear Huyang's story as well. Flash back episode please! ^_^

You are right. Grievous could not. A Yoda vs Dooku rematch would be awesome to see.

We were promised a Yoda arc and I think we deserve a Yoda arc.

More "Ambush"-like stuff with Yoda would be great. So many possibilities with this show. I just wish they'd use them.

Too bad ROTS was the only Yoda v. Sidious duel. Personally, I was rather disappointed with it. I thought the Yoda v. Dooku in AOTC was much better. I'll stop rambling now..

Yoda vs Dooku in AOTC was awesome and they need to have Yoda duel anybody like that.

 

I rather hope Yoda gets his own arc that has more in common with the Rako Hardeen arc than Ambush.

 

I strongly disagree... Ambush was THE Yoda.

The Hardeen approach would be the wrong way to go IMO.

 

I agree. I think Ambush does a pretty good job of showing ESB Yoda.

 

I think that is the one most people love the most and not the Episodes I, II and III mostly sitting and depressed Yoda.

 

Give me a complex 4 part arc about Yoda please. Not one episode of Yoda just doing badass things and sounding wise.

 

I'm all for a 4-part complex Yoda arc. But I don't see how the Hardeen arc fits in with Yoda, it didn't seem very complex to me either.

Ambush may not have been very complex, but neither was ESB Yoda.

 

Different perspectives. I want to think about it. I want Yoda to do something interesting that tells a story and enhances TCW. I don't want cheesy fanservice.

It really is strange that the very first episode of a series that has hit 5 seasons is the only feature episode to have a twirling, whirling, jumping Yoda in full combat. His stint in Zillo Beast Strikes Back was all too short (no pun intended). It does not make any sense why any of the writers (or even Filoni himself) could not have gotten some more episodes featuring Yoda in full Force combat. I always loved how he toyed with Ventress as though she were a silly novice. I'd really like to see him put some more baddies in their place.

 

Short of Dooku, there aren't really any lightsaber-wielding combatants that can hold their own against Yoda. Maul and Savage might be able to, but it doesn't look like that'll ever happen.
